I'm watching a recording of a session ("Deploying SharePoint Farms on Windows Azure Virtual Machines") from the recent SharePoint conference, and an alarm went off (in the recording). Evidently, it's part of a "hotel early alert system." The speaker evidently chose to speak over the alarm (probably wise, it's been going off for about 5 minutes now). It's very difficult to focus, but I am probably giving this video more attention than I would have otherwise.
Sounds like one of the aspConf 2012[^] videos; the speaker had forgotten to mute the sound from the attendees, so he kept getting drowned out by background noise. At one point, someone started explaining very loudly how to fix the problem, but the speaker just kept going!
(It was this video[^], particularly around the 30-minute mark.)
