Well, the stated goal is to drive existing programmer Q&A sites like ExpertSexChange / MSDN Forums out of the top Google search results, so i'm comparing it to those UIs (the former being an ad-clogged nightmare, the latter tormented by unstable URLs and painfully bad formatting).

It's got at least two of the biggest heavyweights in the business behind it, both with a proven track record of success at everything they do, it alleviates all the major problems currently seen on Q&A sites for coders with a few simple but clever ideas, some of which have been suggested for this site *many* times.
