Basically, once you have installed the OS, create an image. Then, in the case of hard drive (or SSD) failure or you just want to reinstall the machine, simply put the image back onto the drive. This way, all the drivers are already there and you dont need to have to "manually" reinstall everything.

Thank you! I am quite surprised when I see people mentioning reinstalling their machine. In fact, the last time some of my machines were "reinstalled" was several years ago, as I have images of the machines ready to be rolled out when the need arises. Some companies use this for mass deployment of OS's to machines over a network. Very useful.
