I have written an application for a Client following the spec testing against a unit we have,
seems to work packaged up sent off. Two issues now appear I have followed the spec and created the file, however not knowing how the file is handled by other software could cause issues: multiple readings from the same unit (all I can test with as we only have one unit) causing trouble, not splitting different (by the serial number (should by 8 characters long, but read back as 7) units into separate files (should it?, shouldn't it?) Cry | :(( This I think needs some time also it doesn't help that the client is 5 hours ahead so ask a question today gets an answer tomorrow. Everyone seems to be in a rush and this is low priority, until it isn't. Is there an algorithm section to the Code Project where I can spit ball ideas and get some feedback? Sigh | :sigh:
