Lobster Thermidor aux crevettes with a Mornay sauce, served in a Provençale manner with shallots and aubergines, garnished with truffle pate, brandy and a fried egg on top and Spam - Monty Python Spam Sketch
I was reading the "XKCD What If?" for the week1 and it referenced the "Oh-my-god" particle: a proton travelling at 0.9999999999999999999999951c which was detected in 1991. I'd never hear of it before, but it makes for interesting numbers: from it's POV the universe is only 19 days old indeed - and there have been 15 other sightings since then... So according to a phone call and various emails with Facebook notifications, it is apparently my birthday today. But since it's just my 22nd, I think I'll just skip it, too confusing to change the number every year, so I think I'll just stay 21 until I'm 25 (want those reduced insurance rates, I'd say car rental but I've already done that).
My plans for the day are to write a paper on the cyber attacks on Iran's nuclear program (Stuxnet and the like), so if anyone knows of any good articles on them, those would make a great birthday gift! After that...I'll probably turn it in then go to bed. I lead a very exciting life as you can tell.
I once read a huge article from PCMag, I think, that went really in-depth into Symantec's initial study of Stuxnet. It was focused on a few different guys that were trying to figure out what the hell it did...
I can't find the article now, but I didn't look really hard for it. I'm pretty sure it was actually from the magazine itself, but I read it online. If you find it, post it on here. I'm sure lots of people would find it really interesting.
The United States invariably does the right thing, after having exhausted every other alternative. -Winston Churchill
America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without civilization in between. -Oscar Wilde
Wow, even the French showed a little more spine than that before they got their sh*t pushed in.[^] -Colin Mullikin
