Colleges (The Running Authority) pays a huge bribe to government officials in-order for it's approval to run. There are lots of graduates coming out, What I have seen over the years is the Quantity of outcome is more and Quality is coming down.
It's not only the case with the Engineering field but others too. I can think of how difficult it would be for a fresher who is seeing some job in IT Industry.
Not trying to defend the colleges or the quality of "education" imparted...
What have you (and all the lakhs of IT graduates) done to make yourself employable? After all, you should not expect to be spoon fed in a college, like you are done at school. The programming aptitude of some of the so-called IT graduates I have interviewed over so many years has basically been pretty bad, and I will not blame only their colleges for that.

yes i failed to see the big picture ,till my third year of B.Tech i didn't even knew oops concepts but i had crammed lot of Q/A of it,i joined HCL-CDC(Hindustan computers limited Career development center) noida even there i was taught nothing in two months but fortunately after passing college i found a man (who worked for a small S/w company) taught me oops and implementation just in 15 days and he gave me dream to get a job in IT sector Now Everything in that gloomy.
i m only in family who has completed higher education. i was completely dependent on college ,i lacked guidance.otherwise before 3rd year i could have become a MCTS for sure.
my father gambled all hard earned money with a private college.now i have a lot of pressure to recover all money earn him respect.now i realize how cruel this world is for ignorant ones (crooks ,money-eaters are everywhere ) May god give me courage to work for success.
dont get disappointed even i was unemployed for 1.5 years, then i finaly choosed small company to start my career, so i also suggest you to join any small company dont just try to get selected in only big multinational company, you will never get any chance to learn something new in big company they just appoint graduates to maintain there man power strength to retain their multinational company reputation, and in small company you will get more exposure to any kind of work, and in mean time try to enhance your skills by self R&D, you will definitely get success all the best
Well said. A supporting peoples like you should be a right person to boost others and encourage them to a possible extent. Not everyone gets opportunity in big companies or not all gets selected in campus interview. Today's world we need to struggle a lot, We have no options but not to loose hope.
