Unable to install WPFDataGridExtended

Unable to install WPFDataGridExtended it gives error "Unable to Run the Application.the Application require that the assembly WPFToolKit version 3.5.40128.1 be installed in the global assembly Cache(GAC)first".but even i could not find WPFToolKit version 3.5.40128.1 anywhere in the net.

any help will be highly appreciated

First google hit[^]. If the newest version does not work, there's older ones for download on the right.

IT means what it says, so install the prerequisite.

Bloody hell. To repeat, the older versions are availabe in a link on the right of the page.

Have you tried older versions that are available ? Have you gone back to the component site to see if THEY have a newer version ? Does the component come with source code so you could build it against a newer version ? It sounds like the control you want to use has been orphaned, which does not bode well.

Yes all the older version I tried whatever available in the site. it shows the same error.

I got the version 3.5.40128.1 and installed but still it shows the same error how to install it to GAC

that's how a programmer would deal with this issue.
