Hi,

see this code:
Public Sub New()
    InitializeComponent()
    Dim myList As New List(Of String)()
    ModifyList(myList)
    MessageBox.Show(myList.Count.ToString())
End Sub

Private Sub ModifyList(lst As List(Of String))
    lst.Add("Hello")
End Sub
