Is it possible to Compress the images and save it to database and Decompress it and display it back from Database......?

As i m saving the images the database sizes goes on increasing. So i want to Comprees it...

Please help me in this regard...

Solution 1

Instead compression/decompression you can use file stream.

"SQL Server has a file stream data type. This data type allows users to store content on the disk instead of the database as a real file."
