<h3>Changes and fixes for 64-bit compilation, as discussed by The Code Project
community</h3>
<p>The major source file changes referenced in this update should all be
annotated with 'v7.2 - update 02' in comments. The scope of these changes is for
the most part concerned with issues arising from 64-bit
compilation.</p>
<p>The goal of this update is to enable 64-bit compilation of the core source
files, while retaining backward compatibility with VC6, VS2003, and VS2005.
64-bit configurations were added to the VS2008 library and sample solutions for
testing (x64 using VS2008 cross compiler on Win32) - these added configurations
are not included in this download.<b>
</b> </p>

Miscellaneous declarations were updated to reflect additional types added
for the ODBC and OleDB APIs that were introduced in VS2003, and are now
problematic in 64-bit - these are VC6 specific, switching on _MSC_VER <
1400.<br>

<li>Some warnings arising in 64-bit compilation have not been suppressed since
these changes have not yet been tested.<br> </li>
<li>Notes - the Db7 ODBC example in DataSources/ODBC/odbcexm2 needs changes
to stdafx.h to compile in 64-bit - see stdafx.h in the companion example -
DataSources/ODBC/odbcexam. The DAO datasource and examples will not be
available - DAO is not supported on Win64 platforms.</li>

<p>Please test. These changes are offered as an alpha of the basic modifications
needed to ready the code for 64-bit. Comments and suggestions are very very much
welcomed from those using the code in 64-bit applications. TD </p>
