This article presents a generic approach to applying LINQ queries to tree like structures. Using T4 templates for code generation, LINQ to VisualTree (WPF), LINQ to WinForms, and LINQ to FileSystem APIs are constructed.

The projects within this solution are

LinqToTree - A Linq to Tree API that defines extension methods on an adapter, as detailed in the first
half of the codeproject article.
LinqToTreeWPF - A WPF example of the above.

CodeGen - The projects within this folder use code generation via the T4 template, LinqToTreeCodeGen.tt
to produce a superior API. Examples of WinForms, WPF and Filesystem are given.
