The difference in performance would only just be better for LINQ.
If your function is not many to one, you could directly use a key value pair collection.

Sure. "research a lot".
You can launch an external app from PHP using the exec[^] method. It doesn't matter what language the app was written in.

Maybe i expressed mind not good. I have php script on WebServer what must send data to my local machine to localhost (client WTF C#). How i understood correctly - function exec runs process on server.

I know there is possible to work with sockets.
In the PHP i can open socket and send it data. And in C# connect to socket and read sent data.
|

Yup, that's an option; It's easier if the C# app can initiate the communication, since that'd mean you'd only have to GET/POST a webpage.
Communicating over a socket should be possible, but I'd seriously spend some time looking for an easier way.

Profitability to do that client (C#) not make request on Server(PHP) every time and do it contra.
That is mean the server will send data if it need, once.
How send data to socket in PHP i know, but how it take on C# WTF - don't know. Can you line me on true way, i am beginner

A webserver typically serves data, it doesn't push it to the client.
Junoli wrote: That is mean the server will send data if it need, once.
My last article is about polling a webserver, and it isn't continually reading data; it's asking the webserver whether or nor a specific file has changed. If it has, it's downloaded and processed.
If you need a "push"-mechanism that actively works with it's clients, I'd suggest a server-application in C#, not a PHP-website.

Okay, give me please source example C# server app, and how it set to server?! Thank you

Thank you. So how i can start this server program on the WebServer?
|
|
|
|

It's not a program, it's source-code; if you want to communicate, someone will have to write a server. That should be a bit easier than tinkering with a socket from a PHP-page on a webserver.

I saw this example, but i dont understand full function this code and my program dont make steps futher then "Waiting for a connection..." This program work with local? Where to send a request?

I understand you. But if i wrote source code on C# how to load on the server (I have a hosting)? What will be compile my source C# on server and will send me data on local machine?

Your English is bad because of lack o' exposure, not because of "being Turkish".
Create a UserControl , yank a PictureBox and a Label in there and you're done.

If you're developing in Windows Forms, see the Label.Image[^] property.

Hi everyone,
I am looking help for making an Windows Form Application which will do these 2 main functions.
1. Books: Picture, Title, Current Price, Number of Bids, Item description
(Author's (firstname, surname), Publish Year, Publisher's name)
2.Laptops: Picture, Maker, Model, Current Price, Number of Bids, Item
description (Screen size. CPU speed, Memory size, hard drive size)
All am looking help for is the points stated below:
1. The ability to select one of the two categories to start;
2. The ability to view all items in the selected category one by one,
displaying all attributes for each item; at least 5 items for each
category included;
3. The ability to exit from the application.
And any 3 amongst the below:
1. The ability to navigate forward and backward within a selected
category.
2. The ability to skip to a particular item using the item ID.
3. The ability to search for items in the Laptop category using keywords,
items found should be displayed (should at least display the maker,
model and current price)
4. The ability to add /delete new items to/from the system.
5. The ability to make a bid (by adding a control for bidding. When a bid
executed, the current price needs to be increased by an amount
entered by the user.
6. The ability to display all laptops that have current price more than £500
(should at least display the maker, model and current price)
7. The ability to store/display the bidding history. The bidding history
should be available when the application is restarted.
8. The ability to load data from an XML file or a database. If a database is
used, this should only be for storing data. The interface must use C#
Windows Forms.
Is there anyone who can help me out with this please? And in return, I have got a very nice gift for you, if you play Texas Holdem Poker.
Cheers!!
