I suppose it was because you just posted a couple of pictures and some links with very few or no explanations

Thanks very much for your message. I guess the first thing is that it seems some of your projects that were pulled in were in French. As we are a predominantly English speaking site, we ask that our content be in English.
The second thing is that sometimes Projects don't quite meet our article requirements. Although it's very understandable and easy for a Project from Github coming in to just share the project, our Project articles are meant to be the same as our regular articles. As such, CodeProject is more about code sharing rather than tool sharing. So we would ask you to make some changes to the article to discuss more how the tool works (showing and describing examples of that code) rather than telling us what it does.
CodeProject articles have a certain layout to follow, so that users can learn the most from them. Each article attempts to answer the following questions: What problem does this solution solve? How does this help someone else? How does the code actually work? What is going on inside the code snippets?
For tips on writing articles, please see this article:
A Guide To Writing Articles For Code Project[^]
Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thnaks to repond to me.
Documentation/Article is all in english only 3 videos are in frensh, i could delet them.
I checked the content uploaded from github to the one posted here, and i modified some sections to fit to codeproject's article.
" (showing and describing examples of that code) rather than telling us what it does"
well the wiki is huge, can't just past it here or past an example, it's not a small peace of code, it's an engine to draw things, initialization ..., i left a link to my wiki with 23 sections in my article :

Thanks very much for your response. I wouldn't say to to put the entire wiki in the article (though you could), but at the least to pick a few key components to discuss in detail would be ideal.

It seems that the admins explained you why they had to delete the article. Simply look through the message from the administration more attentively. I understand how much it upsets you, but this stuff happens sometimes. Cheer up!

I thought it was a deliberate typo. If not, certainly a Freudian slip!

For my article "The Spiral TrackBar", I uploaded a thumbnail image (100x67 pixels) for the article using the Browse button under the Article Thumbnail section.
The image is currently listed with the Images as Thumbnail.jpg, but it is not being displayed as the thumbnail. The auto-generated "Thumbnail.png" is still being displayed.
How do I tell the Article Submission Wizard which image to use for a thumbnail?
Thanks,
Graham

I've also had problems setting the thumbnail. What seems to work is to do it as the absolute last thing before submitting the article. Under Article Thumbnail on the right, click on Browse... and navigate to the file (which you also uploaded previously). Select the thumbnail and then submit the article. Hope this works for you.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Actually, adding the icon was all I did in that particular editing session.
But this morning, I noticed that the icon was correctly set. Not sure if it was a cache issue.

Is there a way to enable alerts when someone adds a question to a published article?

Open the article, scroll down to Comments and Discussions at the bottom, mouse over Email Alerts, and fill out the box that appears.

I'm updating one of my old articles using the Article Submission Wizard. I've uploaded new downloads and updated the links in the article. But when I go to preview mode and test the downloads, for all of them I get "No download file was specified".
I've looked at the HTML source in the editor, and it does look reasonable.
The current (old) article is "The Spiral TrackBar Control" (https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/719643/The-Spiral-TrackBar-Control-2).
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Graham

To my knowledge, I don't believe you can download files from a preview. I think the article must be published.

Ok, that explains it. I published, and the links work.

Hello,
i just develop a antivirus in vb.net, and i'm getting the error below. The application needs to scan files in the given path, and i'm being denied access.
Can you explain what could be causing the error?
could it be code bug?

This is nothing to do with an Article you have written. Please use the correct forum for your question, e.g. https://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx[^].
And the answer is that your application is running in an account that does not have universal access.

Wrong forum, this is for questions about articles you have written. But in both this and your other question you will find the answer in the RichEdit documentation on MSDN.
