This is trivial in WPF (it can even be done from markup if you prefer), but then it obviously requires .NET 3.0. You can easily create a custom button control in WPF and host it in the WinForm application using ElementHost. If .NET 3.0 is not an option, lower the expectations of how fancy the UI will be - WinForm is terribly outdated.

the code in your snippet is redundant,
if (dg1.CurrentPageIndex > 0)
{
dg1.CurrentPageIndex -= 1;
SwitchLebel(dg1.CurrentPageIndex);
}
will perform tha same task; anyway, I cannot see errors inside.
What about SwitchLebel (maybe the error is there...)?
If the Lord God Almighty had consulted me before embarking upon the Creation, I would have recommended something simpler.

Since you're asking here, probably not.
Did you look inside SwitchLebel ? (It should have been SwitchLabel )

I tried to get the windows time (W32Time) from the services through the ServiceController class but i am unable to get only one service sot i tried to get through the process class but it is giving the length of the array is 0 when i used GetProcessesByName("W32Time").
Can you help me to get only that service alone.
Best Regards,

Maybe the servicename is diffrent from the name listed in the Services window from Windows. You'd better list all services first and then find out which name to use for the service you want.

I looked in the properties of the service and they have specified "W32Time" as the service name.
I tried with the same.
Otherwise can you give me how to extract only one service from the services

Hai Everybody,
I wish you all a nice and colorful day.
I am creating a windows service application in which I want to get the server address and then i want to create a messagequeue in the server and another service has to manipulate the messages in the message queue.
Can anyone tell me how to get the server's message queue location.
I did this with the public queue in the local machine. it is working fine.

Do you mean how to get a list of the queues on that remote machine?
Or do you mean how do you access a queue on a remote machine?
To get a list you can use:
System.Messaging.MessageQueue.GetPrivateQueuesByMachine
System.Messaging.MessageQueue.GetPublicQueuesByMachine
To access it its just the same as the local queues except you use a machinename instead of '.'
|
|
|
|
|
Thank you very much.
I want to know how can i get the machine name, because the service can run on any server so that i cannot hardcode the machine name.
how can i get the local machine name or the server to which it has connected.
Best Regards,
M. J. Jaya Chitra

As far as I know you need to supply the machine name.
I dont think there is anything that will search the network for you so, you could retrive the machine name of every machine on the network and then cycle through and query each one on what6 queues it has.

Hi All,
I want to display the tables in my database by using a HTML web page. This should be created when the user clicks the next button in a C#.NET form.
|
|
|
|
|
There are many data bound controls, from the Repeater ( which gives you full control ) to the GridView ( which does all sorts of stuff for you, if you ask it to ). Just make your table the data source of a data bound control, and call it's DataBind method.

Hi,
Is there any way to kill a process and to close only a handle of a process(not complete process).
|

A handle is representative of an object, how would you close a handle, but not the object it represents ?

your are right, but the Process Explorer(Sys Internal) supports to close the handle too, i wonder how did the Process Explorer team achieve that task.
I am sorry if have done some english grammatical mistakes.

Hello,
Killing a process is possible over the System.Diagnostics.Process class. (method kill)
To get the process you could use GetProcessByName method.
Mushq wrote: and to close only a handle of a process
I think you have to specify a little more what you whant to do.
All the best,
Martin

Thanx, I have got the answer of my first part of question that how to kill a process, and about handle, for that i am taking particular example of Explorer.exe process, I have created Test folder in C dervice, and Test Folder in D Derive, and i have opened both of them simultaneously, Explorer.exe process has got handle of both these opened folder, when i search C:\Test in process explorer(Sys Internals), then it shows me that explorer.exe has loaded the handle C:\Test Folder.
I am sorry if have done some english grammatical or spelling mistakes.

Mushq
