It's not that bad any more, no death threats except off the cuff ones for at least 2 years I reckon.

I have cousins that live not too far away from you. I have always assumed it is one of those peaceful havens where nothing untoward ever happens; apart from too much rain once in a while.

The death threats? I got involved in helping refugees, right wing people hate refugees, I would try to correct their lies on FB so they started stalking me and eventually made a ton of videos about me and would call at 3 am to threaten my kids.
Google my name to find a ton of entries on 'cheater' websites and some fun lying videos
Useful if you ever want to visit, they mostly have my address

Back several score years ago, my elder brother and I had sets of, well, stuff.
We had the green little plastic soldiers. Also, a bunch of knights, and best of all, a huge army of dinosaurs. My brother's favorite was "Danny Bimetrodon" and mine was a Pteranodon which was referred to a "Bird" (ancient forerunner of Big Bird?). All of these were roughly the same size as the toy soldiers and knights. Embedded on the tails (or wings) in tiny print was the creature's museum name.
Only now, in hindsight, do realize how cute adults thought it was that we could pronounce the names and identify their owners.
Lookin on a bright-side I want to imagine: at least your nephew didn't have his knowledge limited to Pokemon characters.
