Some more things as well
1:Number of BJP karyakartas killed in West bengal-Dainik Bhaskar
2: BJP workers killed in Kerala
3: Congress leaders threatening people to Vote for them
4: A group of jds supporters threatening not to leave water to Tumkur from Hasan as HD Devegowda lost
Another fact which media wont tell as well is Rahul Gandhi needs to step down

Overall there were 54 political murders were happened in West Bengal in the last two months. Whoever raises voice against Momota was cut down or hanged.
Where is the outrage in media, Rajdeep, Barkha missing in action?

Nah, they're busy complaining that the EVMs were rigged or whatever else nonsense. Besides, the 54 people were not from any minority groups, so who cares, yes?

The bunch will consume the Fevicol for those incidents otherwise Social Fabric will be in danger and Minority is not safe in India subsequently there will be a return of Award-Wapasi & Intolerant Gang (well, atleast now they can't return the awards, there is nothing left to return )
Do you remember the Placard gang led by Swara Bhaskar for the Kathua case, for which we heard lots of nuisance in GIT almost a year ago where they tried to malign Hinduism at their best?
Later it was found the victim's high-profile advocate was dropped from the case as she didn't appear for the hearings! The father of the victim has expressed his disappointment over Rajawat. He claimed that that the said lawyer has only appeared two or three times in over 100 proceedings until now.
In other news, the father was duped for the donation money, it's being said the crook is from the same liberal gang, I forgot her name (most probably Shehla Rashid from JNU fraudsters) would update here once I find the link. (Well this is no baseless allegation like liberals, I have done the proper fact check)
Father of Kathua rape victim left with only Rs. 35,000, 'anonymous people' syphoned off lakhs from his account: Report - Opindia News[^]

Personally, I "strongly" condemn any Rape and seek the hardest penalty for every rapist. My point is towards selective reporting by the same gang and demonstrates entire religion into bad taste.

I am really amused what prompted people to give their mandate to candidates like:
Pragya Singh Thakur - Wikipedia[^]
Azam Khan (politician) - Wikipedia[^]
Nalin Kumar Kateel - Wikipedia[^]
Voting for rowdies, criminals, corrupt people etc. is no shock anymore. But I am finding how these got out victorious. May be victory is proportional to the amount of controversial statements one barks out their mouth or is that anti to congress/other anti-BJP parties which helped them.
Am I missing something ....I mean, am I disconnected so awfully that I only am finding it odd

Since i come from Mangalore, I find myself eligible to write something about Him. Nalin Kumar Kateel started off well to be fair. In 2009 when he contested for Lokasabha elections mangaloreans were very much excited as he was a person who connected well with the people. However he slowly began performing below expectations. These are the points that went for Nalin Kumar this election
1: Strong hold of BJP in Mangalore and coastal belt
2: Lack of proper candidates from Congress. Mithun Rai gave lesser threat to him
3: People voted for Modi rather than him. I think that helped Nalin to great extent
When Narendra modi Visited mangalore he never asked people to vote for Nalin Kumar, all he asked was to vote for country's development. If the high anti incumbency continues i believe he would not be given ticket as there are lot of other candidates who are way better than him
Hope that clears some confusion

I have not heard anything bad about Nalin Kumar Kateel. He does not seem to be of any bad or criminal background, and no adverse things about him. Maybe he needs to perform more, but that does not disqualify him from contesting.

Apart from the fact that he is taking forever to complete a flyover, he is a good guy. Problem is too much was expected out of him and he ended up not meeting the same

is he responsible for building that flyover? asking for info.

He isnt. But kind of accountable as he was the person who came up with the Idea and he needs to see through the same.
The reason is 9 years without anything on a 400 m flyover doesnt look good

So this seems to be the state government's job to finish construction. I have seen this argument in some other place too but nobody is asking WTF the state government is doing from past 9 years. I am not defending him but looking for some logic in argument.

To be fair it's not. The pumpwell flyover is a part of national highway!

Sorry to add a counter here as well. People questioned the State govt but the problem comes with accountability here!

Fact : Hindutv is more important than development.Especially among 'many educated young' people. I'm not saying that other candidates were capable, but the reason why she got such a huge number of votes was Hindutv. Sad but true.

I consider myself an "educated youth", and you do not represent me when you talk on my behalf. I don't take part in "Hindutv activities", whatever those may be, and WILL NOT vote for someone like Pragya.
The reason for candidates like this winning is far more complex than what you're saying. It includes among other things, the worthless candidates presented by congress (which you've pointed out), votes "for Modi", people being sick and tired of taking crap just for being in the majority.
The recent thread with super was an example where he went on a rampage, calling the voting as "saffronization", whereas people of all religions and beliefs have voted for the victor. When this is perceived as "normal behaviour", the populace is sending a message, that while isn't as noisy as a bunch of people shouting on the internet, is far more powerful.

I'd have been more clearer in my previous message. I totally understand you're among educated youth, but here (Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP and UP) at the ground level people are way too much influenced by Hindutv thing. It is fact whether someone accepts it or not.
Corrected the OP. Does that makes sense now?

I don't know what exactly are you calling as Hindutv, so I cannot comment on if it makes sense to me. This kind of blanket blaming ("Hindutva", "Saffronization", etc.) is what lead to this election result.
I also raised another point on this forum several times that's never been addressed: what about the people from other religions who have voted for BJP (which definitely happened, because otherwise this kind of victory is impossible). Are they saffronizing the country too?
Of course, you're welcome to have an opinion that makes sense to you (which need not necessarily convince me or anyone else). Your opinion might as well be true, but I simply do not perceive it that way from what I see.
When I was in India a month or so ago, my brother's friend came over to my place and we had a conversation. These were exactly his words: "If a dog was fielded as a BJP candidate, I'll vote for the dog" - and his reasoning was Modi. I think that's understandable on some levels, which might also explain the victory of creatures like Pragya Singh. Not that I place this person above the wonderful creature that a dog is, but you get my drift.
However, the one thing that makes sense to me is that the people's mandate is crystal clear, and casts no shadow of doubt, and leaves no room for alternative interpretations. That's something we could easily agree on.
And yes, there are some undesirable elements in the force, but this has always been the case. I just want to put it out there that this isn't new.

Thanks7872 wrote: Hindutv is more important than development.
Or people find development more important than the aforesaid "Hindutva". People voted for Modi and not just a particular candidate from a particular party. By saying that I'm not defending Pragya's election, I seriously wished Pragya to lose. But I also understand why she won and it is not Hindutva even if it was a campaign agenda by many BJP candidates.
Numerous "minority" votes went to BJP (WB, Varanasi).
On the ground level, the slogan was "Pragya to majboori hai, Modi zaroori hai." (Pragya is a compulsion because Modi is necessary.)
If Hindutva was a factor why Acharya Pramod Krishnam wasn't elected from Lucknow. Or why Digvijay Singh wasn't elected even after performing a huge Yagna.
As @RajeshRSubramanian pointed out, this election was not as simple as you'd believe.

I agree with you on this one. It would have been impossible otherwise. I also think that Amethi shocker was similar. Not trying to take away anything from Smriti, but bring Modi into the equation, and it becomes easy to see why Rahul was ousted there.
