I completely understand the sentiment, and I am glad that these thugs were wiped off the face of the earth. These murderous rapist pigs would have otherwise been a deadweight on the society, living in a jail and consuming tax-payer resources. Better dead than alive.
Having said that, this style of justice is simultaneously a fair bit disconcerting. If the rapists were sons of MLAs or MPs, would they have been shot in the same manner? I suspect not.
We should aim to revive our judiciary system so that it works in a swift and efficient manner, but we seem to be resorting to taking the law into our hands. This indicates a deeply flawed judiciary system, and it's not all that uplifting when you realise that.

I agree however this is the part where I would leave the thinking to the victim's family. since they are the one at loss from everywhere either its from Society or from the Justice system.
Rajesh R Subramanian wrote: If the rapists were sons of MLAs or MPs, would they have been shot in the same manner? I suspect not. True! Even the opposition would become friends behind the curtains to save each other's a$$ in such a situation, it's being said: "Pappu was caught having some illegal drugs and 160000 Dollars in the US back in 2001, at times Atal Vajpai did everything he could do to save him from the penalty and farce." - This is just an example and I am sure there are many like this.
Rajesh R Subramanian wrote: We should aim to revive our judiciary system so that it works in a swift and efficient manner I've said this many times here and have seen people wasting decades behind silly cases and deprived of justice. I believe now its time this government can do something in this regard having a majority in upper house and a virtual majority in the lower house to pass the bills.

If we Indians start appreciating this kind of Justice, we are heading for disaster.
India has one of the worst Police system, No due process is followed and they pressure common man for no reason or do biddings for powerful man.
This Killing was no justice but a diversion for earlier failure. Right way should have been Fast track court, time bound trial and then hanged to death.
If not you/we or any innocent person could be next because Police are always sure they caught the culprit.
Same sentiment was prevailing when Ryan case came into light. so at that time, police should have killed the "accused"?

This Killing was no justice but a diversion for earlier failure. Right way should have been Fast track court, time bound trial and then hanged to death. Agree with all the points here, however, for this particular case, it was most evident as one of the accused has confessed that he killed the Doctor and he might have spilled the bins for the rest of the gang members who supported him for this rape and burn live.
Surely Police shouldn't give freehand like this however this was the threshold point where people/police were fed up from the FAILED judiciary which literally can't do anything "On-time".
super wrote: Same sentiment was prevailing when Ryan case came into light. so at that time, police should have killed the "accused"? Absolutely right, poor bus conductor was the prime accused. He was in the terrible position and who knows how police may have interrogated him!
I believe all the government has failed to put strong laws for rape & murder of a woman, including this one.

But this "on-time" was 100% accurate? they said the same for Ryan case where he confessed on duress.
Gandalf_TheWhite wrote: He was in the terrible position and who knows how police may have interrogated him!
whats the chance that this is not repeated here too? I hope its not but I don't trust Police

Sharad pawar played well the game. He told his nephew to defect and go to BJP. Once floor test declared his nephew will resign and again join NCP.
After 6 months Ajit pawar will be deputy CM.
What you guys think about this logic
|
|
|
|

What ever may be the reason but I still don't understand the logic of BJP?
With President rule in place, maximum 6 months is allowed to be in that rule. With Hastily swearing in morning, they brought assembly in motion which pave way for NC+SS+Cong govt.
The missing thing from the NC+SS+Cong was Unity which BJP solved by doing a surgical morning swearing in!
Plus they showed the whole world that Corruption case etc is only for politics. Ajit pawar was accused in 70 K crore Irrigation scam just before election. When he joined BJP , he was given clean chit and case closed! and now he he is scam free.
Plus this showed President, PM and Governor in bad light.

Oh God! Can't believe, how easily you trust the fake news which suits the narration you like.
Here are some of the facts for you regarding the cases that were closed.
PS: None of the cases were related to Ajit Pawar. His cases are still going on.
The Facts Put Forward by the Officials
This is the clarification given by the DG of ACB to News-18 that majorly broke the story saying Ajit Pawar got ‘clean chit’.
— We had recommended this almost three months ago that there was no role of Ajit Pawar in these nine cases; the probe is on in other cases. We are probing more than 3,000 irregularities in this scam: ACB DG Paramvir Singh
— News18 (@CNNnews18) November 25, 2019
According to other officials, the decision on nine cases taken on the direction of the Bombay High-court.
— State govt sources defend shutting case file on Ajit Pawar, says 'It is a routine matter and has been done under the direction of Bombay High Court, which had ordered certain action before November 28, 2019. These cases unrelated to Ajit Pawar'.@vinivdvc with details pic.twitter.com/GKjydGhCyk
— News18 (@CNNnews18) November 25, 2019
According to the news agency ANI which spoke to the government officials, the cases that are closed have no direct links to Ajit Pawar. In future, if the new evidence comes to light, these cases also may be reopened.
Maharashtra Anti Corruption Bureau Sources add that the cases that were closed today were conditional, cases could reopen if more information comes to light or courts order further inquiry.
— ANI (@ANI) November 25, 2019
A few journalists who had said that the cases related to Ajit Pawar closed, have clarified after the new information emerged.
Meanwhile, expectedly the social media handles from Congress and Shiva Sena such as Pawan Khera and Priyanka Chaturvedi quoted the news item stating ‘clean chit’ to Ajit Pawar and took pot-shots at BJP. But the fact remains that the corruption cases directly related to Ajit Pawar are still pending and his joining hands with the BJP has not brought any changes in the status of the cases.

Maybe because you did not read his post.
Here is a TL:DR for you, he did not pass judgement on Ajit Pawar in his post.
He cited some news reports and statements from officials which he believes to be facts (what are the facts we may never know, but these are as close as we can get, also, this does not make your side of the story any more correct).

Agreed with this (although not "only" for politics, but yeah politics is a driving factor).
super wrote: Ajit pawar was accused in 70 K crore Irrigation scam just before election. When he joined BJP , he was given clean chit and case closed! and now he he is scam free.
Factually incorrect.
1. He never "joined" BJP.
2. There were 20 cases of corruption against him, out of which ACB cleared Ajit Pawar's name in 9, so he certainly isn't scot-free as of now.
This does not mean that those 9 cases got solved just in time due to some divine intervention, it is evident what happened and people see it.
