I am really very sorry for posting, I thought "without a reference" in the Closing reason on my article meant I had to add a reference like a bibliography so I added the reference to Documentation and reposted it.

I am very sorry for this behaviour, I assure this won't happen again. Can my account be recovered please? I have been posting good stuff including answers and articles on CodeProject, and don't want to leave it behind. I am using my cousins account for sending this request to you guys since I was not able to reply there.

Please, recover my account. My userid[^] is also mentioned in the post. Thanks. Frown | :(

Ok.... that was odd, but somehow nice to see that at least someone learns that it was wrong to do that way. Lets see what the future brings

all the messages into other articles are spam as well.

I guess he made his Blog entry or whatever, then came here made a search of articles speaking about something similar and voted up all of the list, while posting a link to his own apportation. The messages are grouped into date-blocks and link-blocks as well.

Is that something where we (I have been promoted as well) can just nuke all the messages of the list?

Welcome to the club...

We don't get a lot of extras - you can't delete messages or threads - but you can interfere with articles, questions and answers.
So spam in QA I tend to redflag and then immediately delete - as that's a public forum and the shorter it lasts, the value there is to posting it in the first place. Stuff in the moderation queue I tend to just report so others can see it's spam and that the author needs a good kicking. It's a limited forum so it doesn't matter that much. Published spam gets the hammer straight away! Laugh | :laugh:

Annoyingly the extra buttons in the forums (including the BOMB button) do nothing except tell you you aren't authorised to use it... Sigh | :sigh:
