Any woman who works in science needs to withstand peer-pressure and defend their claims. None of them have complained yet about the unfair advantages of men.
If someone is not comfortable about claiming that they are right, it is usually not gender-based, but based on them judging theirself and their (lack of) knowledge. If you can explain why you are right, then that is a non-problem.

No, female scientists have complained about having a harder time than their male counterparts. Not too vocally for fear of retribution because academic fields tend to be small where everyone knows everyone, but I've come across them.
It probably also varies field to field, since they tend to be more insular and self-regulating
