A design for a multi-touch enabled synthesizer for the Intel Ultrabook platform.
Multi-touch gestural synthesizers are not a new idea. However, they've previously relied on very expensive dedicated hardware, or run on platforms with small screens and limited processing power.
This is the first multi touch synthesizer to take advantage of Ultrabook's much larger screen real estate (double the screen area of tablets), and vastly higher CPU power thanks to Intel Core(tm) processors with AVX instruction set.
Bigger screen area = better playability & higher control resolution. Greater CPU power = much improved audio quality.
