1. Abstract
-----------
Project Line Counter is an add-in for Microsoft Visual C++. Line Counter
reports statistics about files in your Visual C++ projects, including:
number of lines, lines with code, lines with C/C++ style comments, mixed
lines (code and comments), and more.

A full version history can be found in the online help file. You can open
this file by selecting Help|Contents from the Line Counter menu.
3. System Requirements
----------------------
Line Counter requires Microsoft Visual C++ version 5 (DevStudio '97) or 6
(DevStudio 6) running under Windows 9x, or Windows NT 4.0+.
4. Installation
---------------
To install Project Line Counter, follow the following steps:
1. If you don't have Workspace Whiz! installed, install the Worspace Whiz!
interface by running it's installer (WWhizInterfaceInstaller212.exe).
2. Copying the rest of the files from this distribution file to the Visual
C++ add-in directory.
3. Run DevStudio, and select "Project Line Counter" in the
Tools|Customize|AddIns dialog.
5. Uninstalling
---------------
To uninstall simply delete all the files mentioned in the Installation
section.
6. Workspace Whiz! Interface
----------------------------
Line Counter is able to extract project file information using the freely
available Workspace Whiz! Interface. Version 2.12 of WWhiz! Interface is
included with this distribution.
If you wish to learn more about Workspace Whiz! Interface and Workspace Whiz!
itself, refer to the Line Counter on-line help, and to the Workspace Whiz!
