about timer and query string in asp.net

i have developed an application,in one application parameters are generating continuesly for every 1 sec time interval,now i want to capture these parameters in another page at each 5 min time intervals again and again until generation of parameters stops in 1st page. please send me some information about this how to capture data.

are both pages going to remain open for long ??
are you saving these parameters in database on page 1 ?
please explain in detail what you actually want to do ?

Solution 1

I dont think using query strings is the best appraoch for such implementations.
You might want to look at socket communication or maybe even a web service for regular communication between two pages.
