No, it is not. The primary reason for this site's existence is to share code and solutions you developed by writing articles (and tips).
And do not share code written by others and "discovered" by you.

No, this is not a code sharing site in that sense. If you have some useful code in an article that you have written then you can do it that way: Submission Guidelines[^]

thanks for answering and letting me know how to approach alternative routes on codeproject to share
No. Questions are questions, Codeproject isn't a backup service.

If you want to share code, then I'd suggest GitHub[^], or write an article about it and include the code there if it's generally useful: Submit a new Article[^] But an article or tip will mean that eteh code and explanation will have to meet the standards we expect or it will not get through moderation.

Here's one of mine: Using struct and class - what's that all about?[^]
And here's a tip which is a lot more "code focussed": Creating a Simple "scratch card" Control in WinForms[^] to give you an idea what I mean.

Hi
Since github isnt free and im poor i cant use it.

I want to share a link to code that others also can use without membership.

I do some drawings and paintings and mostly share on deviant art.

As a tool for perspective reference doing planets (spheres) a transparent hex grid with either traditional longitude and latitude or other lines may be of use.

Deviant art dont accept exe or code

The web search i did for code sharing sites wasent sites for python.

I think if its not easily available through one click (perhaps require having python installed already is out of reach) and needed to be mailed is to big of barrier.

Maybe ill return with a question as how to make it one click available

If writing an article it would most probably be off point and sub par (what would be of general use is beyond my programming collab skills)

Anyhow how thanks for answering and letting me know how to approach alternative routes on codeproject to share

"Since github isnt free and im poor i cant use it."

What are you talking about?
GitHub always had a free option, with up to five open source repositories available since day one.
Since it was bought by Microsoft, that's changed - and it's given unlimited free private repositories for over a year...

It said free trial on their page. I thought trial meant to try it out for a limited ammount of time and then discontinue use or pay for it

Nah, it's MS for "the accountants may try to change this in the future, but you'll all yell at us and they will back down".
When asking the question i didnt realize how diverse sharing code meant. Since web searching and letting the results sink in I can see that its everything from live collaboration to an email with a code strip.

What I intended to ask was to be able to show and make available a small one man made program, run it online, to show its not a virus and make it some one elses too.

No, that is still not acceptable, unless it is part of an article that you write and publish, as suggested above.
