Hi this is Aparna...I am developing one application called online test...in that i want to make mathematics test...but my problem is that how can i use symbols like square roots integration and all maths related symbols in test....please anyone can help me...i dont want to use html code for maths symbols...i want to use those symbols in word format...like what is the sqareroot of 9? for this i want to write symbolic representation for sqareroot....please suggest me

Why don't you want to use HTML codes, any specific reason? You can visit http://barzilai.org/math_sym.htm for the whole list of symbols.

Have you tried
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematical_operators_and_symbols_in_Unicode[^]

I cant understand what this has to take from html...
Whenever you will use math symbols mostly it will be in UNICODE format.
if you dont want to use UNICODE ,I believe you will obiviously have to shift to some image manipulated symbols.

Also it is suggested to copy the symbols from link provided and paste in Word.It'll work
