It should, at least its working for me for last 10 yrs.

It would be better if you refer to printer manual. In general

Compress on: Chr(15)
Compress Off: Chr(18)

Example :
If you want to print a compressed string "I Want to print compress" then use Chr(15) & "I Want to print compress" & Chr(18)

How are you printing? Are you opening a text file in Notepad and printing or what?
You need to use RAW printing to print.

It does not work. Have not any changes in printing.
