i was try to create a web service in asp.net i was followed this link
Calling Web Service using ASP.NET[^] but i got error (The URI prefix is not recognized and HTTP 404 error )on web service URL fount box . i am using windows server 2008 OS .how add web service ?

The error could be for several reasons. One probable reason - you might have some special characters in the url which cannot be identified. Your querystring should maintain the RFC3986 guideline. If it is not solved, type the url here.
