Hello everyone!

I'd like to create an Internet search engine. A lot like Google. But I wonder how Google is able to search every website on the Internet(Millions) in just a few seconds. Or does Google have a databse of frequent searched websites like, YouTube, Facebook. I am not sure, does anyone where to get started?

Google has a huge database and racks of computers all working together. It took them a long time and a lot of programmers to get it working.

Good luck! They wrote their own database engine to support the excessively MASSIVE amount of data they have.

That's really interesting, but this uses Google and Bing already, not that it's a bad thing.
