An error comes in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 setup

Screen shot - ERROR MSG

i download it from here ENU\x64\SQLManagementStudio_x64_ENU.exe

My Pc Proformance
core i3 3.07Ghz
4GB ram
1GB nvidia VGA card
89GB available free disk space in C Drive

Why that error come? I try 4 times but it still happening What is the reason?

Solution 1

It seems you do not have minimum requirement to install SQL Server 2012.Please have a look on the link below and compare you have all necessary requirement(both hardware and software level) to install it.

What OS you are using WIN7 if so please check you have the latest service pack.Another think, it seems you are attempting to install 64bit version of SQL 2012. Is your OS also 64 bit?

yes both are the 64 bit versions windows 7 and SQL Management Studio 2012

Download "windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe" this one and install it. Afterwards try to install SQL 2012. Hopefully you will be succeeded.

But i have a another problem when i connect to the local server what is the server name

1. Press Windows Key, Type "SQL Server Configuration Manager" in the search box.
2. Open SQL Server Configuration Manager.
3. Select SQL Server Service from Left pane.
4. In the right Window you will be able to see all available instances.
