Does godaddy support crystal report ? coz they asking to buy dedicated server...but my project was fully developed with crystal report...so pls tel me how to use crystal report in godaddy server but i can't spend more money to server so cant able to buy dedicated one...


So if i switch over to any another server means which u the people prefer for me?????

You have 3 options.

1. Buy dedicated server from Godaddy.
I checked their forum & found this[^], so no other options. They don't allow SSRS too.

2. Find another hosting company who supports Crystal reports on shared hosting. Use web to find.

3. Develop your reports using any other reporting tools[^] which's suitable for shared hosting & you could stay with Godaddy.

I know that all three options're painful but I think you could go with second one.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone. Most of my project're intranet so we didn't face such issue. Do google search for Shared hosting providers & contact them(by mail/phone) to verify that are they support crystal report on shared hosting. If you find any please share details here which could help others in future.

i tried and talk with many providers but they told buy atleast vps for this crystal report support

SIR ACTUALLY i'm trying with godaddy now...but getting Could not load file or assembly 'log4net, Version=1.2.10.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) error...

You forgot to include log4net assemblies while deployment, complete that.
finally i solved log4net issues by adding log4net dll from downloading sap site... but getting another issues...

Actually godaddy asking to buy dedicated server for supporting crystal report...so i change over all my reports into microsoft report viewer...it's working fine in godaddy server....

Buen día,

Les dejo la solución que a mi me funciono :

1.- Crear los reportes con xtrareport del devexpress y desarrollen sus reportes.

2.- Copiar en la carpeta bin de sus publicados las dlls de devexpress que se generan cuando se crean los reportes.

Eso es todo amigo esto me funcionó a mi.
