When attempting to quote from a message, the "quote from message" does not paste the quote. If the new message is empty, I get an error saying that I can't post an empty message. If there is text in the new message, I get the "are you sure you want to close this?" dialog box.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Could it be that the type attribute of the button needs to be set to "button". Maybe FireFox does a default type = "submit" interpretation?
Cheers!

Works like a charm now.
Judging from a quick look I couldn't make out the changes.
Would you mind telling us what did the trick?
Cheers!

It appears to be working now. The hamsters must have been up to their tricks again...

Unfortunately not - the rubbish answer is no more, and my downvote is a heavy hitter so I don;t like to "throw it around"!
I'll see what comes up - this is QA after all, so there will be some stupidity along shortly...

I use Firefox and have "about:newtab" as starting page, "CP...Todolist" is one of the pages I have "pinned" on the starting-page.
The only problem is: the thumbnail is and stays empty. Firefox-help writes that "some webpages does not allow the creation of thumbnails": https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thumbnails-new-tab-page-missing-how-get-them-back
Is it possible that CP is one of these sites?

Bonjour Pierre,
I use Firefox too, have no problem.
When I open a new tab, I see 15 thumbnails, one of them is my member of CP. It is not pinned but it shouldn't change some thing.

Bonsoir Patrice
merci beaucoup pour ta réponse.
Solved:
It was a problem of "redicrection" - the link stored the address of "website A" which was a redirection to "website b". This is why the link worked, but had no thumbnail.

I didn't got participant point for sign in today.
Even after being out for hours.

You can only get 1 point per day for a sign-in, where a day is, IIRC, a Canadian timezone day.

Took account of Canadian Time zone (Montreal/Toronto).
Zero point for sign in today!
