The QA entry at I want to write all rows in column[^] has been closed. But I felt that OP was trying to respond to questions, and his/her problem was more language than anything else. Do you think it should be reopened?

I recently posted an article (when the article editor had plenty of issues) and it's doing pretty well!
However, despite the many votes I get and it being in the run for Web Dev Article of the Month I have not gotten a single comment...
I thought that was odd (there's always something!) so I checked it out and it seems it's impossible to post comments to my article...
Who knows what awesome comments I have missed in the past two weeks because of it?
Here's the article: Arrgh.js - Bringing LINQ to JavaScript[^]

Well, why didn't you say so!?
Also, here's your chance to comment

Not sure what happened, but you now have comments on your article.

I posted a comment to this question[^]. It shows up in my comments list, but not on the question page.

I've been doing some work to speed up the display for Q&A, including caching of the comment lists. Must have a cache invalidation error. I'll check it out.
As they say,

- Cache invalidation
- One off errors

The error is still there sometimes.
I just answered a comment posted to a QA solution. Shortly thereafter, I recognised that I forgot something and wanted to edit the comment. But no comments are shown anymore below my solution while comments for another solution to the same question are shown.
Tried everything (reloading multiple times, following the links from my reputation history and list of comments), but no success.

Definitely a caching issue. Your comment displayed after the cache duration was exceeded and it reloaded. Must have missed something.

It looks like we had some network issues with the Redis servers right around the time you posted the comment, which could account for the comment not displaying initially. The cache does timeout and reloads, which explains why it is showing now.

I had a similar issue, but my comment did initially show up. I then got a reply from the OP but when I clicked the link, my comment and his reply did not show up. I just tried again and they are all there; most odd.

Seen similar myself, posted a comment, came back later and it was gone, came back and it was there. As they say; caching is easy, it's the un-caching that's hard

Is there a max file size limit for the My Uploads feature?
I tried uploading a 7mb file and it choked. Then, I tried submitting a 5mb file, and it choked again. I ended up having to break my upload into three parts to get it to stick (and yes, I had plenty of space left at the outset).

On my upload page it says right on the bottom:
"Total uploads must not exceed 10 MB."
What does it say on yours?

We'll dig in. Sorry about this. It should Just Work.
If you email myself or Sean the files I'll make sure they get uploaded if I have to type in the 1's and 0's myself.

Ref.: Re: Spam would be article[^]
There were wrong user profile links in the "About the Author" section of an article and on the profile page itself.
The correct user was "mandegar113355" with ID 12899565 (closed as spammer) but the above mentioned links where pointing to the profile page of the user "mandegar" with ID 1518749.
It seems that the numeric part has been stripped off to create the links.

I'm trying to publish my article using CodeProject's article submission wizard. The text of my article contains equation formulas. To insert equation formulas I exactly follow LaTeX, styling and layout tips as it's shown here[^]. But it doesn't work for me. The editor doesn't render the LaTeX script. I've tried to paste those scripts from the example, wrapping it with

Hi. I've just started writing my article [^] using CodeProject's articles editor and I'm experiencing several issues using it. The first of all, when I'm pasting my article's text from Microsoft Word 2016 the formulas, images and tables are not displayed correctly in the article's preview. And also there's the number of space gaps occurred in the text that has been pasted from MS-Word. As well, when I've pasted and started to format the code fragments, in the preview html-code is displayed instead of the code text written in C++ after I specify the proper formatting.
Previously, I've already posted the number of articles using CodeProject's articles editor, *BUT* those issues had not persisted then. Smile |
Please help me out to correct these problems, or just guide me how to properly use the CodeProject's articles editor. Smile |
Thanks in advance, Arthur.
