Depends on the level of comedy the author is attempting to create.

I'm going to guess that this has already been brought up before, but is there any work being done on "live" notifications, a la Facebook. Having to refresh the page to see if I have any notifications of replies to my forum messages is rather tedious. It would be nice if they popped up as they happened. We don't need the toast-like notifications that Facebook uses, but just updating the number at the top would be nice.

Nice idea Colin. +1 to this.

That's been on my TODO for about 4 years now.
It's creeping closer to the top - especially with the stuff we're working on now.

That bug in the editor (which adds the article ID to the image links while editing, thus showing images correctly in preview but giving a broken image while publishing) is causing 4 out of 5 posts in moderation to be of "Format/Layout" problem type. Anyone working on that bug to fix it?

That was meant to have been fixed today.
Can you give me an example of an article in which you're seeing the problem?

Those are fixed. From now on there shouldn't be a problem - though Sean is reporting that he's still seeing it. Of course I can't repro it on my machine.
Where's my "it works here" badge?
I'll keep looking.

I didn't type any line-breaks, and they don't show up under "Improve solution":
How can I assign a CSS Class to HtmlTextArea elements?[^] (Solution #2)
The line breaks seem to appear after every <code> block.
There, see? It's done it again.
We also seem to be getting extra line-breaks in <pre> blocks, but not in the preview:
Line 1
Line 2
NB: I have "Use Markdown formatting" turned off.

Fixed - though I have seen it rearing it's ugly head in articles. Chasing that one now.

Right now, 2015-08-10 11:27 PDT, the "Latest News" column at the bottom of the CP home page lists five items showing a posting date of "Tue 11 Aug 2015"

Hi,
Could someone please tell me why are images not showing properly in my article and how can I fix them?
Below is a link to my article:
http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/1017396/Running-jobs-sequentially-using-Quartz-Net-with-th
or you can search it in code project by entering "running jobs sequentially using quartz .net"
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Sean,
Thanks for fixing them for me. So, is it like every time I will have to ask you for help?
Also, I saw some one posted a comment in my article saying that my download links were not working but I am not able to find that comment anywhere anymore. Can you tell me where can I find it? Is this also a bug?
Thanks & Regards,
Deepak Bisht
