I have observed that sometimes (intermittently) the Quick answers > View Unanswered Questions shows no data/empty. if i refresh, i can see the data/questions again. This is not happening with any other sections of the web site.

Hi,
I think there should be a following option for users, that's mean if I follow some user then if he update his article, add article, add tips etc then followers would be notified.
Thanks,
Suvabrata Roy

When you click on a search result, it leads to the forum page where the message is, but the layout is by default set to "expand all" so that it looks a bit weird and you have to scroll a lot to find the message you clicked in search results.
On the other hand, if you change the layout to "normal" then you miss the higlighted message and it brings you back to page "1" of the forum.
Could it be possible...
- to get the "normal" layout as default when clicking on the search result?
or...
- to stay in the same page you already are when switching the layout (at least as long as the "number of messages per page" remains the same)?
or...
- if staying with "expand all" layout, move the vertical scroll to the message?
BTW: Same happening in Internet Explorer 9 and in Firefox 22.0 (Win 7 Enterprise)
Edit: I have noticed that it already moves the scroll to the selected message, but it is not always like that. I have made several tests, but I can not simulate it or find out where is the difference between top of page and/or vertical scroll ok.

This is on our TODO list. @Carrie-Davis-Sydor has already beaten me around the head and shoulders about it.

I know this is reported already, but it doesn't seem to be fixed.
If you edit a question/answer, you only get 2 points if the question/answer has been edited already (so you don't get points if you're the first editor).
Is this by design or a bug?

A bug, and it's on our TODO list.

I have posted many articles, author "Amol Kakhandki". But when I log in and click "My Articles" I see only my latest article listed which is a few weeks back. Though all my old articles posted several years back exist, they are not shown in my list.
Regards,
Amol Kakhandki

This may be related to a recent bug where the RSS feed won't show recently posted articles.
That said, were your older articles posted under the same member-id?
Yes, my older articles were all posted under the same member-id amolkakhandki@hotmail.com

Ok, seems to be the same bug that's affecting my articles list! Or at least a closely related one.
I see that my older articles have author id 29168 and my newest article has author id 4842226. My email id / login name has always been the same i.e amolkakhandki@hotmail.com. So I am surprised why all my articles are not listed when I log in.

Ah, okay, so this is not a bug then. You just have them under 2 different author IDs.
And here I was hoping your problem would be the same as mine, so this bug would get some interest
Do you know the way out to get them under the same list?. No clue why two author id's were created.

Yeah, Sean or Chris or one of the editors should be able to change the author ids on the articles so they all use the same one.
