Do people like to know more about Smalltalk?
For example see code or have questions?

There hasn't been much demand for it - which is the reason there isn't a forum for it. If you have articles that you can share on this, I'd love to see it.

Normally, CP used to auto-list the messages in Threaded View and today despite repeatedly setting the 'Threaded View' and updating, it obeys that only for a few minutes and again reverts to this mode.
Any one else facing the issue?

Have you tried setting layout to 'Normal'?

I am confused. I managed to make my own Tip/Trick[^] publicy available without even doing anything . The only thing I did were some changes in its content and clicking on "Publish" when I was finished. After 2 or three hours the tip was suddenly available and as publisher was my name there[^]. Not that this is critical IMO, but it is strange. Can anyone tell me what on earth I did??

Looks like an editor edited and published it. You should have received an email.

Yes. A day or so after it was available in public I got the email and notification.

Careful. It's a cunning ploy to get upvotes.

That's why I have voted 3 and not 5.

On http://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/List.aspx[^] both the server and local time are displayed:
Local server time: 20 Mar '13 - 16:39. Your time: 20 Mar '13 - 12:39
This time is off by one hour, as if my local Daylight Savings Time is ignored.
The setting in my profile IS correct: Pacific Time, currently in DST.
(A low priority, I know.)

I've been trying for about 3 years to determine the exact hour of Leslie Nielsen's demise.

Mea culpa.
I hadn't noticed it mentioned recently and I failed to search the Forum.

No problem. My post will be lost in the mists of time, but Soren's is more recent...

I feel like it is my fault [^]. If I had just stayed quiet back then, it might have been working correctly now.

I think I first complained, then learned to live with it, around three years ago. Got the impression at the time that server time was subject to summer time and someone got the +/- an hour screwed up, but it's so long ago it's faded from the little grey cells.

If you follow the link I have to my post on RootAdmin, you will see that one of the three posts I link to there, is your 3 year old post[^].
BTW, to keep me sane, my current workaround is to set my timezone in the CP setup to one hour ahead of my actual TZ. Or is it one hour behind...I really need to get some .

I posted the link to an article on LinkedIn. The article shows up, but the text is coming from somewhere in the middle of the article.
What can I do in the article text to make a proper text appear?
|
|
|
|

I believe that this is controlled by the consuming system.
|
|
|
|
|
Yes it is. But for facebook you can add a meta tag to control the short description. But I don't think the header of an article template is under control of the poster.
