Recently I have posted this Tip/Trick[^] & it was accepted as an alternate today. But the points has been added in Authority instead of Author. Also the Event displaying as Answer Accepted instead of Alternate Accepted.
I found this in my Reputation History like below.

Hi Chris, Now I have a Tip/Trick to be published but I want this feature[^](above bug). So please inform me once you solved that because my new Tip/Trick needs to show image itself.
Also I want plain Bob's picture, I mean without any text itself so please give me link if you have any. I need that for my new Tip/Trick. Thanks.

[ADDED] An article gives Authority points when upvoted or bookmarked, this is OK. [/ADDED]
Answers in programming forums give Authority points when upvoted (good), and Debator points when bookmarked (very bad).
Here[^] is an example, it got upvoted once, and bookmarked three times, yielding 5 Authority and 15 Debator points, should have been 20 Authority and no Debator.

Today, in the evening, while using CP search, I happened to find a new CP Search (in Beta)[^]
For now it looks good, best of all, we have been provided a way now, to look into the stuff posted by just me.
Thanks, I really wanted this feature and would help greatly, to find the answers/posts to refer to, when a similar thing is asked in future by someone else.
Thanks CP Team!

Did we mention "beta"?
Even so, more updates are coming and we'll squash this bug.

This[^] article has been approved and is available to all and sundry.
I'm not really complaining about the article although I feel it really needs some work. My problem is with whoever approved it.
I just thought that I would suggest that a gentle word is spoken to the approver, if the excellent standard of CP is to be maintained.

We are close to finishing a change to the approval system that will make the system more transparent and a little safer.

It's gone now, but that was an emailed one, wasn't it? I think I remember it, one with a horribly ugly UI and little explanation.
I was planning to ask, but I suppose your new system will make it redundant now. Are you going to put all articles (including those edited by staff) in the moderation queue? If so, good, because I think it is asking too much to expect the (staff) editor to vet the contents for suitability as well.

Henry Minute wrote: I just thought that I would suggest that a gentle word is spoken to the approve Maybe the approver has a different opinion, one that rates the article higher than you do? How would you expect the editors to be able to evaluate your opinion vs. the approver's?
In any case, depending on how strongly you feel, there are a few other options:
1. Add a message in the article's forum suggesting to the author what specific things he should do to improve the article (maybe you've already done this, I didn't look). This would be my recommendation, since other people might see your post, and offer other suggestions for improvement.
2. Click the Report flag and tell the CP editors that the article is substandard and should not have been approved, giving your reasons.
