Now published and no red flag at all.
Should it get deleted?

Received a 'Message currently under review' in the message section of an article. Doesn't look like spam. Sits there for more than a day. Anything I can do?

Not going to happen.
That is what happens when you plagiarise: your account is closed and you don't get it back.

I sent a message to the author and have not received a response. I've deleted the article.

Like five or more minutes to refresh a page, or open a "Add a message" page. Exactly how long I'm not sure - I went and made coffee and it still hadn't loaded.
Tried in Chrome and Edge, just in case, but no real change.

How is it now? We just deployed a an update the aimed to address perf on the homepage.
However: it also addresses a bunch of GDPR things, so may actually slow things down. Our tests, so far, don't indicate this but you know how things go in the wild...

It seems that many submissions are not this at all but just blog posts. Is something awry?

Project, as a category for publications? It looks like pretty similar to the old "blogs"
They have only one possible action for moderators... and this is, to approve.
No reports on quality, spam, plagiarism (nuke reports)
Help reports (format, images...) are missing too

It will be shown like this since a couple of hours, but the thread from Marco and ppolymorphe are completely unrelated (and shown as that before a couple of hours):

They aren't mixed - they are separate threads. See the orange line between them?

See my Screen shot they where mixed up (I assume indent counts more than a orange line) Now they are shown correctly again

On my post Avoid the “std 2-step”[^], the first heading “Introduction” is black and the default font. I tried on a different browser that I had not been using, and it did the same, so it is not an issue with my caching.
Looking at the page, the CSS shows color black in the style sheet where the others are orange.
While editing, it started doing this at some point. The H2s were de-styled, then that fixed and the H1 is de-styled, and that never came back. It is still that way in the published page now.
|
|
|
|
|
Headings in articles should start no higher than H2, since the title of the article itself is displayed as H1.
H! has always been black.
Hope this helps
cheers

... unfortunatelly the Message Links (red flag, right top) does not bring me to the right Location while clicking an item. Not a big Problem in case the thread is short, but hard if the thread is longer
[Edit0]
Speculation: It Looks like the links are ok for Messages in Lounge but not for comments in Q/A.

the red reporting flag operates differently on comments. It's binary for comments, and more fine grained for other things.
What were you expecting the flag to do?

What were you expecting the flag to do? I think to remember it was like this
a.) I press on the red flag
b.) It Shows me a list of Messages I received
c.) I click one of the Messages (link) and it leads me precisely to the comment/message from the sender
My expirience now for Q/A is, it leads me to the Q, but no longer to the comment. And I'm more or less sure in the past it lead me always directly to the comment of the Sender.
