That was an interesting one.
We had a whitelist check for URLs to get titles from, in that we checked only URLs that had either no extension, or extensions of type php, asp, aspx etc. Your URL had an "extension" of ".-phpmyadmin-in-web-development" and this was, surprisingly, not accepted.
I've redone the logic. It'll be live soon.

When posting an answer, the message Submitting your answer is printed just under the answering instructions.
However, if the servers are overworked, the "This is taking longer than expected..." message is printed above the solution text box which is often not visible anymore especially if the solution preview is a bit longer.
It would be nice if both messages would be close to each other, near the submit button.

Fixed, will deploy soon.
Out of interest, what OS are you using?

Great, thanks!
I'm using Win 10. Was this somehow specific to my OS?

Your code sample ended in \n instead of \r\n. Shouldn't have mattered but it did. I was just wondering if you were posting from a Linux box

Is there suppose to be a title on top of the timer on the main page? Something like 'Discover whats new in technology at Microsoft Build Live!' and when click on it will redirect to Microsoft site?
Right now, it redirect the user to Microsoft site but the Microsoft site said the event will start in approximately 2 days. But CodeProject said it will start in 3 days.

Pasting an URL is now working like a charm, browser stays responsive, clear indication when the operation is in progress and much faster than it used to be. Good work!

Pasting an URL to an answer was for me the only way to get a well formated link here for several years now and I "missused" that until now to "Format" my links
[Edit]
And was also always working responsive and like a charm
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Ability to add a link to an answer has been around for quite a long time, but as far as I can see the behaviour has just changed to much better than what it used to be.
Previously there wasn't a spinning wheel during formatting, browser stopped responding and so on. All these problems seem now to be gone.

Ok. I never faced things like browser stop, it was always responsive. And that even I'm still using IE(11)

This keeps happening to me when I try to edit an unfinished article:
There seems to be a problem
We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Ticket: 129523
Server: Web01-2016
Why is this happening, and how do I recover my unfinished article?

Working on it now

I have recently added a new tech blog to my account. However, I've noticed that CodeProject seems to convert the post into an article, which should not happen. Moreover, when I view the list of consumed articles, it does not show up for that blog.
Is this an known issue?

Hi I changed my email and have not received an email confirmation so I am no longer getting the newsletters. What should I do?
|
|
|
|
|
One should have been sent when you changed emails. Also, at the top of articles will be the message "Is your email ok?" with a link. I've manually sent a reconfirm email.
