I have clicked save on the article below, twice, I see the spinnner (5-10 seconds) and then nothing new appears in my reading list. However, an article that I saved a while back is still there. Sorry if this is repost.

Also, I just noticed that I have 4 identical entries in my history for bookmarking the article above. I thought the system would only let you bookmark once.
Also, I just noticed that the reading list popup is mostly off the monitor/page, going right, so I only see the first left half of the popup, with no way to see the rest (scroll, etc.).

Can you please paste a screenshot here of the dropdown so I can see what's happening.

You mean you have the same article bookmarked 4 times?

So, I noticed that if I have the red "unread" message number indicator showing there is room for the popup, but if it is gone the popup runs off the page.
Yes, I have 4 bookmark entries for 2 clicks of the "save" button.
What is weird is that yesterday, it saved Marc Clifton's article just fine ("Build a Prototype..."), as you can see in the screen shot, but not the one I mentioned in the OP.
Edit: I also don't see an intuitive way for me to remove the item from the reading list, or is it supposed to automatically remove itself after I "read" the article - I don't know.
This also seems to be happening with the Flag popup on messages, as well. This occurs in the Fluid Layout, and not the Fixed.

The Home page questions list is still occasionally throwing up duplicates:
If you hover over them, or click on them, you get the same URL: C# object oriented programing[^]

It looks like the member posted the question twice, and one of them was closed.

No, both the links went to the same URL.
Different questions would have different QuestionID values in the address.

I've noticed that, from time to time, the embedded images in my article don't show up in the browser window. I have to close and open the browser again to see the images. This would suggest there is a problem in Code Project's web servers.

I cannot see any missing image icons in that article.

I said, "from time to time." It's an intermittent issue.

For me: With Chrome it Looks fine. With IE Images are missing, but are at least displayed after context-menu-show image.
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Hi,
When I checked your article on my iPad (Safari) I did see that all the article images were missing. So I went over to my laptop and checked with MSEdge and the images were all there. Went back to the iPad and refreshed the page and your images were now on the iPad.
The only unusual thing I see is that you are using the extension "Jpeg" with mixed upper/lower. Although this really shouldn't be a problem.

You're right, this shouldn't be a problem. That's why I believe it's an issue with Code Project's servers. Perhaps it's a configuration issue. Perhaps it's a coding error.

I don't know. Codeproject is pulling javascript from 14 different external sites.
Not completely sure but I think it may be one of the advertisement banners at the top of the page. I refreshed the page a few dozen times and eventually hit an ad.doubleclick.com advertisement that dynamically generates some javascript code that parses all the image tags on the page for replacing some characters.

I'm assuming a joke icon was missing here?

I wouldn't put it past an advertiser to do something stupid like that, sadly. I've seen ads that inject more ads into the page content recursively.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I get this on various sites sometimes. Never could figure out the root cause. Likely a brief blip with one of the packet routers.

I'm new to Code Project, and in writing my first article, I discovered an enormous pain point: every time I enter the article editor, whether to update an existing article or to create a new article, there is no option to cancel out of it. As soon as you enter the editor, a new article or draft is automatically created, and if you change your mind, you can't simply quit. You have to jump through hoops to get rid of the unintended creation. This is extremely annoying.
My suggestion is: give us an option to cancel or quit. How hard can it be???

At the moment setting a tag filter affects all the tabs in questions. Could it be possible to add a new tab or few like "Filtered new" or "Filtered active" which would be the only ones taking the filter into account. This way both filtered and unfiltered question list would be available at the same time.

I think this would add too much noise to the UI, which is already noisy enough

When a comment is deleted in the Q&A section, there is text next to the comment indicating such. Why is there still an option to edit a deleted comment? Why not just remove it from the list of comments altogether, especially if that comment hasn't been replied to?

It gives members with high rep the chance to undelete a comment someone else may have spuriously deleted. Only those with high enough rep see the comments.

Hi Chris,
I just came across this page
Found my article copied[^]
with spam comments from "Thomas4loans", the comments are delete but visible, the account is closed too.
Is there a way to physically remove those comments ? Or one should edit them an erase the contain ?
