I'm with thatraja on this, I would like to keep those threads as they may assist someone else in the future.

It really does not matter because the questions will be connected to a dead account, so no connection to you. And, as mentioned above, both questions and answers may be useful to other members in the future.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to read articles on the site. Unfortunately, you have chosen to post your comment on the site, rather than on the forum of the actual article that is giving you problems. The Site Bugs/Suggestions forum is for people to make suggestions or report bugs about CodeProject itself, not a single article. What you need to do is twofold. First, post your comment on the relevant article - that way the author will be notified that there is a problem. Secondly, when you post your comment, try to provide a lot more information than "it is not working" - tell the author what problem you had, what errors you were seeing, etc.

I posted two comments to the OP, the second was fairly long.

I can see two comments. Without knowing the contents I can't tell if they were the ones you thought were removed
[Update: just saw your "solved" note. Need more coffee...]

As far as I can see, the Browse code link doesn't seem to work for an article that is waiting for approval. It would be handy if working.

I searched for an old post and did saw if in search results. However, on opening the link, I was taken to first page of the forum with layout switched to "Open All". Then I thought of manually travelling to said post. But I did not see the post. There are bunch of them simply missing. They are there in search results but not there if you manually travel to the forum.
In some cases, I am taken to correct post but the layout is still changed to "Open All".

On clicking the UNISYS post by Christian Graus, I am taken to Lounge home page.

This usually happens when there's high DB load or site maintenance going on, AFAIK.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Not really. The URL on mouse hover will be the newer one with message subject. That does not get translated to old pattern of forum and message id.

+1
It would be nice if we get 'View thread' option in search page so we could just load that particular thread & there's no need to load all other threads.

Hi all. I have recently published an article and it contains some images. While creating/editing the article, I can still see the images, but after publishing the images are gone. Can someone please help?

@chris-maunder I was just reading this article How I Hacked Bitcoin Mining Pool [^] and I noticed that none of the images show up. I tried to view them individually and still shows nothing.
I was wondering if this is a poster mistake or is it perhaps a site bug? Can you please check to see if you can replicate this observation please. Thank you.

Happy to help, hope they can figure it out. Just for the record, I just clicked on the link you provided and the images (most of what I can see on a cursory look) are showing up, so might have been a glitch in the system or a temporary thing but hopefully they can check to confirm.

I'm not a site admin but such caching issues has happened in the past sometimes. When an article goes live it may take some time until the images are served.

Thanks everyone. Its resolved now. Might have been some glitch.

Of course, that makes perfect sense, but I just wanted to make sure they were aware just in case - since they were live for a bit, albeit not super long.
