Sean knows exactly what I am referring to.

There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

You mean the CAPTCHA?
Do you have ad blockers installed?

Yes, the CAPTCHA
There is an Ad-blocker in Firefox (AdBlockPlus), but not in Chrome.

I often browse QA from my phone and noticed over the last couple of days that QA questions list was not being updated ... then I got a bit suspicious that all of the questions were Java related. Got back onto my laptop eventually to find that a QA filter was on for
Java, Java SE, JavaSE6, J2SE5, J2SE4, J2ME, J2EE, Swing, Java Subjects I would definitely never filter anything on and there is no filter available on the Android view.
Have I been pranked or was there a glitch?
I am now receiving therapy

I second this. I thought it was just me but I've noticed a few times in the past where filters "magically" appear.

Go to the home page and click on any of the article columns under "Set your site filter". It then gets proliferated into Q&A. But if you set the filters in Q&A it does not affect the home page.

Thanks for that

New users often click "Have a question or comment" when they want to reply to a comment instead of clicking Reply and they start it with @username. I don't use other forums but I believe this may be common among other forums as a way to direct who your message is to. Personally, I like the way CP works in this regard.
Perhaps it would be easy enough to check if the beginning of the comment is @username to then insert the comment as a reply to the most recent top-level comment of that user. Something like that.

This article - C++ Wrappers for the Expat XML Parser[^] has really been hammered by spam messages over the years. Most of the messages in the Forum are "Message Automatically Removed".
Apparently there is still some spam floating around in there but it's almost impossible to see - any chance of a clear out of the Automatically Removed messages?

I still wonder why that article gets hammered so hard with spam, though.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Hi all. Where do I post ubuntu related programming questions. I want to import an existing project in CodeLite in Ubuntu. But I don't know where to put this question.

As per title. No recent articles show up on the homepage. Web01 and Web02 tested.

No longer getting daily emails from CP. Checked that still a member and updated preferences. Anything else?
Edit: Just clicked on the "Confirm Email" option and received and confirmed email confirmation request.

See if that does it with tomorrow's email. I accidentally sent another one. Please ignore it. Whoopsie daisy.
