Creating HTML tables with JavaScript/DOM methods[^]
First of all, it must not be an Article. At max,its Tip/Trick. Even i personally don't consider it as Tip/Trick because it is very very basic that you create xyz elements with HTML. He only wrote few lines about insertrow and insertcell .
Further he writes,

I'm unable to understand this. Is this acceptable? Posting something just for getting votes on my Article(They consider it Article,we call it Answer! ) is acceptable practice? I think it should not be. I'm shocked to know that it has one approved version also.

Found this in the submission comments - Retagged it as Blog and released it into the wild again.
Furthermore removed the spam-ish bit.

Hey @Sean-Ewington & @Chris-Maunder
I can't seem to be able to change the type to "Technical Blog" (which it originally was), can you help out?

The item was accidentally reclassified as article during a content update. Sean and Chris are at it.

I removed this bit already.

...and other aches lower on your body, how about trying out Textile.NET[^] and using the well defined Textile markup language?
Some more information.[^]
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Unfortunately I'm not keen at all on Textile. I've used it before and found it not as intuitive as Markdown without the power of HTML. It sort of falls in between usefulness and ease and doesn't really provide enough of either for my tastes.
It's also not guaranteed to address the dozens of subtle issues that plague every other markdown style implementation.

I've used Python Markdown[^] with IronPython before, would something like that work? It doesn't seem to have many of the issues plaguing you guys. And it supports syntax highlighting through Pygments[^], which supports over 300 languages (full list[^])

Pygments is good but ours handles nested languages (eg ASP.NET with C#, CSS and Javascript) way, way better.

I often use copy/paste in the editor to reorder what I'm writing or to generate several lines of similar code. In those cases I almost always want paste as is. When I'm pasting from somewhere else, I generally do want to quote; meaning I'm always having to mouse to the side of the screen to pick the right one. IS something like this doable:
OnTextCopiedFromMessageEditor(selectedText) {
messageEditorCopiedText = selectedText;
}
OnTextPastedIntoMessageEditor(pastedText) {
if (pastedText == selectedText)
InsertUsingDefaultForTextFromEditor();
} else {
InsertUsingDefualtForExternalText();
}
}
Only, you know, being valid javascript and doing whatever other stuff you have scripted to copy/paste already still in place.

So essentially:
"if the text being pasted was text copied from the editor, just paste the bloody stuff and stop bugging me".
But in Javascript with error checking and comments and less swearing?

Exactly (for me anyway). I want you to implement DWIM[^] on the forums. I also want a pony. You'll have it ready all ready by the time I leave to go home tonight, right?
I was originally thinking in terms of a separate picker though. It's not how I use it, but if you took the laziest way to make me happen I wouldn't be surprised to see a post from someone complaining that he couldn't slap code into a code block after editing it by doing a copy/paste.

If you look in this[^] list and order it by reputation, you should be able to find yourself. You might have to go through quite a few pages.

Damn, here I was hoping to hire expert no. 137. Just the right level of expert for me, any higher would be high maintenance, any lower would be a Java person.

Hey. It's up to you to make sure he doesn't hire a Java dev. It's your responsibility.

Have you checked your internet connection? I can't replicate the issue my end.
Possibly an issue with the cachefly node local to you. It's status seems fine[^].

Since the automatic spam detector learns from items that are closed by "Spam" reports, can we separate the "Spam" and "Abuse" reports in QA to separate options? That way we hopefully don't feed the detector the wrong info.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

Web04 is showing (to me) no new questions in QA in the last 6 hours. (Seems awfully unlikely!!)
Is there a caching issue?
Is there a way for me to forcibly use another server to see if I see anything different?
Edit: It looks like Web02 also, just now is showing the same...
Still seems unlikely for QA to be "idle" that long.
