Which browser are you using? That doesn't show up on any of the browsers I'm using.

Chrome, latest version. It was there for some time, I couldn't get about to posting until now.
I think it's the same on IE too, will check next time I'm on a PC

Home page is fine for me on latest version of Chrome.

Same hear. No problems with IE 9 or 10, and latest Chrome and FireFox.
The problem is on your end.

I also see something like that once in a while, like right now in IE8 (on XP SP3). It looks the same in Chrome. When I sign out, the white space area is much smaller, primarily due to the "Articles needing approval" and "Cast your vote!" (article of the month) sections not being available.
However, I am actually seeing "the opposite" on my phone (IE10 on WP8), CodeProject set to Full-site, not Mobile mode. There I see a white space area under the Product Showcase. The text in all the sections in that right hand column are unreadable at the normal zoom level (except for the section headings; Our Community, Cast Your Vote, etc.), whereas I am able to read the article introductions on the left hand side.

It's because, as a high-rep member, you can see the 'Articles needing approval' list which is a little long at the moment. This pushes things down.

OK, no problem then. Just checked after signing out - the white area is reduced on Chrome and non-existent on IE (8 and 10, no 9 available). I wonder what causes even a small difference in white space... probably the Japanese OS I'm using. No extensions, and Ad-block is disabled for CP.

Has anyone else noticed the uptick of CUDA and particularly OpenCV questions in QA recently? Has the time come for a GPU programming forum and possibly a Multimedia\GPU articles section?

Yes just like that except a little less buried in the menu tree. I thought there must be an article category in there somewhere but I didn't find it when I went looking. Maybe that's me or maybe it is in the wrong place.
Whether there's enough interest for a separate discussion forum is another issue.

The C# Questions[^] currently displays the following first few items:
- Q1, 0 answers, 3 views, age = 1 min
- Q2, 2 answers, 24 views, age = 7 mins
- Q3, 1 answer, 2.9K views, age = 9 mins
- Q4, 2 answers, 40 views, age = 52 mins
- Q5, 1 answers, 26 views, age = 52 mins
While certainly not impossible, 2.9K views seemed out of boundary, esp. given the nature of the question, leading me to believe there may be a formatting bug.

Maybe the OP didn't use a real email address with their account and it was REALLY urgentzz.

That is just the last time there was an update in it.
If it is the one I am looking at, the Question was posted 7 Feb, 2012. So, well over a year ago. There are no edits or new answers present, so I am guessing the member shown as having updated it last posted an answer, which got downvoted and then deleted. It is a fairly new member with 6 Authority points, so that would make sense.

I think that codeproject should have the clients for mobile.IOS,Android,Windows Phone......
|
|
|
|
|
It's a grand idea, but that's a lot of work with a limited staff who are already working flat out maintaining the site. Would you care to volunteer to help? I'm sure that Chris and co would be delighted if you would write one or more of these clients.

I have already developed a CodeProject Beta App for Windows Phone 8, If you remember my previous post on the same.
The only reason I stopped proceeding further is due to the lack of support for this development from the Codeproject team for logo's and stuffs. I'm Sorry to say this, but I have to say now.
Anything can become official App, if there's a significant support.
I suggested with responsive design so that we can have an mobile app running everywhere. Mobile client for the forum would be good , However it would be nice if we have a CodeProject Mobile App.
Thanks,

Do you have any appreciation how busy the Code Project team are? Chris already told you that he will get a logo made for you. Have some patience. I believe that Chris finally managed to have a night off this last Sunday, the first break he had in weeks. A little bit of gratitude to him wouldn't go amiss.

You know all peoples are busy and they are on their own world. Even I'm working in office and I do have personal life while I go back home. Any ways I'm spending my personal time with interest in working on this application. So have some respect for this development.
Well I'm not blaming anyone. I just want to speed up with the development and that's how I work everywhere. I hate to be a snail in my life.

I'd love it too, but given all the things we have spinning right now we're choosing to focus on the online experience for now.

You only need to give us an API - I bet there are quite a few folks here who'd happily write the mobile apps for you
