EDIT: Added screenshot and swore at my Red/Green colorblindness (In my head).
EDIT2: Added screenshot of another seemingly related issue.

Doesn't look red to me. Also, aren't upvoted messages green?

The message above is in the same state; definitely a bug.

When I go to http://www.codeproject.com/script/Bookmarks/List.aspx?obtid=3, I get a hamster screen of death that says:
Something bad happened
We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: RatingVotes
Ticket: 6224525
Server: Web04
Happens every time I go to that page, which I get to by going to "My Bookmarks" and clicking "Forum Message" (if I click anything else, such as "Article", the problem does not occur).

Whatever was wronged is now righted. Search is producing convincingly useful results again. Thank you to whichever hamster it was put the wheel back on.

The search results are still containing items that have been removed.
For example, Search Quick Answers for "NFL", it gives 82 results, click on some of the newest items and it comes up "Sorry, item cannot be found."
If items have been deleted these should be excluded from the public search results.

I don't see any results. I know the search is on a bit of a lag because of how indexing is done (not in real time). So, if you create a post and then immediately search for it, you will get 0 results. I suspect the opposite is true too (searching for deleted items may produce results for a short time).

Though, that could be because of this.

How about an 'Electronics Project', where people could go to discuss (surprise!) electronics. I have a thread[^] in the Lounge about this as well.
(I wasn't sure where else to post this, so I placed it here. Please tell me if there is a better place for things like this.)

Under the Formus one option would be to have a "Micro-Controllers" forum in the Hardware & Devices category.

This post[^] has an embedded image. According to Google Chrome, it was embedded with a span with the background-image set to a data:image/png:base64 value. That needs to be checked and removed.

I have reset the password several times in CP and I am an expert at it, thanks to the lousy and vanishing and tricky menu for changing the password. Credit goes to the programmer who can achieve such a code - it is technically sound one, but programmed to reject any kind of password reject.
I wonder who will set it right ! I had already seen similar posts here on similar issues. Hope some one take this problem and get it done so that the password can be reset. I am quite happy with the contents and the above average quality of the content here..but it is a tough job to enter the site !

Hey Chris,
Just been over at CP.TV having another play, and must admit I do like the feedback tool to the right of the page, and how it has the ability to attach a screenshot of the page.
I think something like this would be good on CP particularly for feedback suggestions and issues.
Cheers,

There must be 30 or so Spam posts all together yesterday, and the spam reporting mechanism isn't working - all it seems to do is report that downvotes are not allowed rather than mark it as spam.
How about creating a Spam forum, and giving half a dozen or so of the regulars the ability to move posts into it? That way we could clean up the site without reactivating downvotes? Just a suggestion...
If you get an email telling you that you can catch Swine Flu from tinned pork then just delete it. It's Spam.

I still like the idea of a third option on the report flag. Wrong forum or something, select it, choose a better forum, 5 agree and off it goes.
Or something.

Yeah, attempting to report SPAM says 'Downvotes are not allowed' And I second your suggestion.

Hi OG,
I third your suggestion. The current series of Lounge posts by one "Jastinal:" are obnoxious.
I also cast my vote, worth 1/9,500,000, for these options, on the "flag" drop-down menu:
Violates Lounge Rules ... perhaps simplified to: "Not for the Lounge" ?
Wrong Forum
Spam
imho, replacing 'Abusive,' and just having: 'Violates Lounge Rules' would then, cover: not only what we usually consider abusive message content (defamation, slander, verbal assault, threats, etc.), but also posts that include NSFW, or non-KSS, content, inappropriate comments about religion, etc.

Thinking becomes dramatic, and acts out the most complicated plots within itself, and, spectator, again, and again, becomes: actor.” From a book by the Danish writer, Paul Moller, which was a favorite of Niels Bohr.

That explains it, I thought noone was reading the Lounge at the moment
