Sorry, but there is NOT ONE WORD in this post that was made by me.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Hi Chris
Just wondering if CP will be getting a Metro makeover any time soon?

You forgot the joke icon, correct?

So you're asking if he'll remove all the rounded corners, turn the graphics into simple geometric shapes, put all of the links in CAPITAL LETTERS, and make every box on the front page a different color?
That would have been a great April Fools prank

Maybe he just wants Chris to put it on the To Do List...

Chris - Metro is a fluid design concept, full of jargony goodness. Just tell people that what you are doing is Metro.

Oh, it's metro-as, mate. Totally metro.

My username has the ∴ (∴) character in it - and it's now being rendered with huge top and bottom padding.
I've seen this before, in Expression Web 3, but only in the design mode. Firefox (and even IE) both render the character correctly. Hopefully, this is just a passing phase as it does make my posts stick out even more than an extrovert would find appropriate.
NEVER MIND - IT'S THE NEW UPDATE (13.0.1) to FIREFOX THAT'S SCREWED UP!
I can't wait to see what other fun they included.

Just received this - it is blank. I don't think that was the intention.

We're mucking around with our newsletter system and accidentally had a checkbox, well, checked.
Lots of self flagellation at CPHQ this morning. Our apologies.

Tell Sean to stop that now. That's what caused the checkbox to be checked in the first place.

When we wish to report an inappropriate message in the forums, we currently have a choice of flagging it as "Abusive" or "Spam". We really need a third category ("BS" / "General crap" / "Inappropriate" ?) for messages such as this one[^]
The only problem I can see is coming up with the right label. We want something sufficiently general to cover what I'm talking about, but not too inviting to trolls / flamers. (Trolls probably don't care what words we use.)
btw, if 3 people report a post as abuse and 2 as spam, does that count as its 5 strikes, or does it need five of a kind??
Cheers,
Peter
