If there is an exe in the .zip file, you must rename the .zip to something like ".zzz". Include a note in the email, saying that the .zzz is really a .zip file.

Thank you for the quick reply.
Ok, I will rename it. It must be a new restriction on your end, becuase I had have sent mail with zipped .exe file many times before.

The email provider was recently changed, and doesn't allow exe in .zips. As you can tell, this is a very superficial restriction, and easily overcome.

It is a new restriction, but not that new - and it's been advertised in at least one newsletter, if not more.
Nice to see people updating articles though - keep it up!

Yes. I know, but this was not working for a previous poster (yesterday). Don't know if it's been fixed. My patented '.zzz' method always works.

Why are the Article and Blog pages very similar, but the Tip/Trick pages are lacking the tab bar at top? The Tip/Trick message forum is also different from Blogs and Articles; it's more like Quick Answers.
I suggest making the Tip/Trick pages like the other two, unless you have other galactic plans in mind. This would give more consistent navigation, and maybe easier rollout of new features.
To distinguish between the three, maybe use a different background color for the header?

Just want to make an addition with this one. It's nothing but Alternate Tip/Tricks View Count which is not there.

Alternate's don't show views by design.

The Tips and Tricks make use of the Question and Answer system (because we actually got Tips and Tricks for free doing this), but we're working on moving Tips and Tricks into the Article system since that makes more sense.

Maybe the Catalog and Jobs Board FAQs should be removed from the list of FAQs?

Thou hast given these eyes some grace,
Read now of a beauteous face:
Her face Her tongue Her wit
so fair so sweet so sharp
first bent then drew then hit
mine eye mine ear my heart
Her face Her tongue Her wit
so fair so sweet so sharp
first bent then drew then hit
mine eye mine ear my heart
Mine eye Mine ear My heart
to like to learn to love
her face her tongue her wit
doth lead doth teach doth move
Her face Her tongue Her wit
with beams with sound with art
doth blind doth charm doth knit
mine eye mine ear my heart
Mine eye Mine ear My heart
with life with hope with skill
her face her tongue her wit
doth feed doth feast doth fill
O face O tongue O wit
with frowns with checks with smart
wrong not vex not wound not
mine eye mine ear my heart
This eye This ear This heart
shall joy shall yield shall swear
her face her tongue her wit
to serve to trust to fear.

<obscure nitpick> The 'See Also' sidebar next to Articles, Blogs, and Tips should be reworded, if the intent is to provide similar content, without regard for type. Confused yet? I suggest changing the sidebar from:
See Also
* Articles like this
* Articles by this author
to this:
See Also
* More like this
* More by this author
This will allow similar Blogs and Tips to appear on Article sidebars, similar Blogs and Articles to appear on Tip sidebars, etc., without seeming to indicate that all the 'See Also' items are Articles. </obscure nitpick>

Not obscure and not a nitpick. An excellent suggestion, and done.

Hey Chris and CP devs,
People with Platinum debator status seem to be treated as Silver in the non-programming forums (specifically the Indian forum). Seems to be a bug to me. Could you look into this please? Thanks.
The easiest way to repro the bug is to monitor a Platinum debator voting a post up in the non-programming forums. The recipient of the vote will get 6 points (A silver up-vote) instead of the expected 24.

I've received a number of +24 votes in the lounge. Is it just GIT that's broken, is lounge the only one working, or something inbetween?
3x12=36
2x12=24
1x12=12
0x12=18
Not all Platinum debators are affected. Only those Platinum debators are affected who do not have Platinum status in any other category.
Maybe it depends upon total reputation too, since when I give upvote to some post in Lounge/GIT, the member gets +10, since I am only platinum in the debator category.
There is no +10 at all. It's 3, 6, 12, 24 in that order.
Didn't knew that. Maybe I was mistaken in my testing approach.
Yeah, the upvotes are 3,6,12,24 and the downvotes are -2,-4,-8,-16.
5, 10, 20, 40 was there before but was recently changed to 3, 6, 12, 24.
..Go Green..
Did you mean +12? If so maybe it's because it's taking the Organizer status (may be a bug).
Do you mind giving me a 5 here? (sorry about that!) I can tell you how many points it gave me.
