Do you need to set a Referrer-Policy[^]?

You'd think.
However, FireFox treats meta refresh differently to other browsers. There's a great demo at https://meta-refresh-referer.glitch.me/. run it in FireFox and Chrome and you'll see the difference.

Atm you can only choose from the predefined list.
Would be nice and appropriate to allow a custom license to supply for the code.
|
|
|
|
|
The problem with that is that everyone who wanted to use the article code would have to become a lawyer to understand exactly what they can and cannot do - and every author that wrote one, and every moderator that tried to approve it (we can't approve articles if the licence says "you can't use this unless you pay me" for example).
At least with a fixed set, everybody gets a good idea in advance of what they allow (within limits, I'm still not sure what CP allows and GPL3 doesn't for example!)

Thanks, Jeron, I think that's the right forum, and I'll change the link in my response to that post.

When (if) you grow up, you may understand the gist of curating valuable content, so appropriate forums are enriched in a way that benefit people seeking certain types of content who would never find that content in forums like the Lounge.

I tend to agree. Maybe a 'Lessons Learned' or 'War Stories' forum, or perhaps something more generic, a 'Posterity' forum?

When I go to the concert home page, my article filter is set to .net, and the entire article section is blank. Btw, I’m using Firefox...

Which iOS version?

11.2 i think.
It used to work fine. This has been happening for a week or two.
BTW, I am the edge case your mother warned you about.

I’m posting this from Firefox on iOS 12.4 and everything’s fine so far, including the homepage.
I can’t produce your edge case problem.
I guess this is where I count my blessings?

Is the issue happening on other tabs on the homepage, or just .NET?
I'd also strongly recommend you update your iOS version. There's some nasties out there you want to protect yourself against.

I occasionaly use the ipad to cruise the web while watching tv. The forums are the only part that don't freak out. I can't see images in articles, the menus don't let me click on sub menu items, and of course, there's the problem I originally cited. It's not a big deal, but i thought you'd want to know.
I still haven't really decided whether or not I want to update the pad to the newest OS (CP is the only site that doesn't appear to work)...
