Probably related to this thread[^], to prevent accidental reports.

I plan to rework it so you can undo a report more easily, minimising the need for confirmation popups.

Thanks Bryian
We've just completed a fairly major update to the system that handles users and user data (Thank you very much GDPR) so I'm expecting a few glitches here and there. We'll get this one fixed later today.

The usernames of the people are being filled with the content, and the content is same at its place.
This thread for example, has the comments, but however the comments are having a problem. I thought perhaps it was a trick, but no, a hamster somewhere.
See this screenshot: Screenshot (460).png - Google Drive—The comments are from the answer that was deleted due to flags, so it might be hidden for some users.

Tried in the last 60 Min. to post comments in Q&A for the Q. Seems not to work, I do not see the comments. This with IE and Chrome.

We've been updating the system all day so it's been a bit messy.
It's after midnight here now so we'll do mopping up later today. We tested as much as we could but we know there will be some head slappers we missed.

Am I the only one experiencing "hangs" for the last couple of weeks?
It seems like every few requests, the site will "hang" for up to five minutes, with no response to any requests.
Opening the site up in another browser responds instantly, so I suspect it's something to do with locking the session data.

Not exactly the same but I have had times where none of the links are clickable for a couple of minutes.

FYI: I'm more or less daily -and during the day very often- on CP. I do not remember a Situation where CP will hang for about 5 minutes.

The image below shows the path my mouse cursor took on the way to the next page link. As it passed over the flag, some too clever for its own good javascript opened the report message popup, at which point some equally terrible UI design put the report as inappropriate link directly on top of the next link and did so fast enough I didn't realize what happened until after I'd already clicked my mouse button.

PS shouldn't there be a way for me to cancel an invalid flag?

Good points.
I'll move the flag to the left so it's next to where you'd see the "Delete" link if you had deletion rights.
Report clearing? That shouldn't be too hard (we need to do it for ratings, too)

I guess I'll comment on how much, or if, that helps when it's deployed. Not having a delete link I obviously can't say if next to where it would be is safely out of the way or not.

As a first pass I've made it so that after you report an item, an icon will appear showing the number of reports on that item. Hover over that and the tooltip will give you an "Undo" link.
I'm trying to find a compromise between limited space and functionality.
