I know what you mean, but ... it's gonna be difficult to compare a blockchain article with an SQL, with a "beginners guide to debugging", and say "this is the better one". OK, we can vote for more than one article, I can't help feeling it's going to leave some very worthy articles out of the prizes because the majority aren't interested in the subject (yet).

If I edit a Q&A item and I save the changes, I go back to the Page of the question and see the changes.
If I click on "cancel" it doesn't bring me back to the page of the question discarding the changes, it brings me back to the homepage "https://www.codeproject.com/"
Cancelling the edition of a forum message works fine though, it returns back to the forum page

This Blog has been approved and is having the typical "sunglasses" problem of the Blogs with different font styles. I don't say it should be nuked because the content looks interesting, but I don't think it should have been approved yet.
Sadly, there are bad quality, bad formatted publications that are being systematically approved.
I still think that making the list of "approvers" public or partially public (e.g. Mentors, Protectors and CP Staff) could be a good idea. This way we could educate a bit the people who is blindly approving or detect patterns (see if puppeteers, friend lists or similar things are involved).
It looks like the people is afraid of clicking the "bad quality" or "needs help" reports and this is not making any good to the site.

Did you forget to flag the blog as "format / layout issues"? Mine was the first report.

yes,
I forgot to report it in the published version.
I had reported it in the moderated version.

Is it something depending on privileges?
@OriginalGriff can you see it?

Thanks for showing up
You are the "standard" user with the biggest privileges I could think of
If you don't see it, then I suppose no one but the staff can see it.

... on this note, and as an aside (please excuse me for the hijacked thread N), when I get to put the final kibash on a moderated piece or flagging spamule, there's the boat full of fellow cpians about to be appropriating my name (carcass), and "technically" I have no idea what "Closed because content has been posted that is spam" ... means.
Shouldn't the message read something more along the lines of "Misquoting Donald Rumsfeld should be a federal offense but it's ok to paraphrase him as if he was Bob himself"?

Hi Chris,
Sorry, I don't want to disturb you. But as the symbol of the message is "answered" and you didn't say anything else, I am not sure if you have realized my and OG's answer saying that the list is not visible.

I can see:

in all the articles that are now in the recent list of the homepage (the newest of them 4 hours ago)
But as it is, it doesn't add any value to spot puppets or friendly approvals.
For that we need the real user's list, the same as when an article got nuked it shows who reported it.

Hi Chris,
just wanted to let you know, now it is working fine.
I can see the list
@OriginalGriff can you confirm it too?
Question: Does the list update itself, when an article goes again through validation? Can you see who approved in different versions?

I opened the site in Firefox, and tried to reply to a message. Posting the reply hung, and any attempt to open any other page on the site now hangs.
At the same time, on the same machine, I can open the site in Chrome, log in as me, and post messages.
Now, roughly 20 minutes after first attempting to reply, the site is responding in Firefox again.
Is there a bug lurking somewhere? It looks like Firefox is connecting to WEB04-2016, whereas Chrome is connecting to Web06-2016.

Doing some housekeeping ... is it even possible?

You can do it like this
- Go to your bookmarks -page (hover over your account name and select My bookmarks).
- Click the bookmark icon before the article you want to remove from your bookmarks.
- Icon should change to removed bookmark and after refreshing the page the bookmark should not be seen anymore.
Hope this helps

1) this blog and this blog by the same guy are participant of the Azure IoT contest but they weren't approved yet (and in my opinion, they are poor enough to not be even published, as well as the third one he has posted)
Is it really wanted, that items in moderation can get selected to participate in the contests?
I would understand if something was approved, and then lands in moderation after an edit or so.
But being in moderation for the first time and getting selected... I think it might give a wrong impression of quality (as in this case) and make that people approve it just because of the editorial note.
2) the blogs still miss the message board

I suppose the problem is when they are not submitted but automatically fed.
