It's squished to fit the text width - open the image in a new tab and it's readable.

Sorry, I've got a decent size screen, so it looks OK to me.
And once my new glasses are ready, I might even be able to read it!

The "images/downloads offsite" and "missing images/downloads" are not available in the "need help" report menu for tip/tricks.
Is that on purpose?

Hi,
just a short suggestion from my side.
I do not bookmark articles very frequently but here and there one rises up that I want to keep.
And every time, when it's been a bit longer since my last bookmark, I get confused by the bookmark icon again.
If you have not bookmarked the article, it shows a plain bookmark icon, but once you have bookmarked it, the icon changes to a bookmark containing a "+" symbol... the latter I would interpret to "add this as bookmark" and not as "it is already bookmarked".
An icon should always show what will happen, and not what has happened when you clicked the icon the last time.
I hope my english is good enough that you understand what I mean.
So my suggestion is: the bookmark icon with the + in it should be when i CAN bookmark it, and when I already HAVE bookmarked it, the + should change to... maybe a checkmark?
thanks for reading, cheers Mike

I agree. Actually (just tested it) you can't remove the bookmark by clicking the bookmark-icon on the article again - you have to remove it from your bookmarks list. And if you reload the page of an article which you already have bookmarked, the bookmark-icon gives no indication of that.

My expirience is, that this "+" is anyway only showed when you currently Bookmark an article, means if you visit a bookmarked article later it does not Show it again.
So I think, while bookmarking one can assume that the user can remember his click ....

A while ago I published an article on LDAP searching. I made a number of revisions. At one point I deleted the article and started over. Now in google searches, the deleted article is coming up.

This will be fixed after our next deploy, and then whenever Google decides to update its index. Hours, days, months...?

I expect that this has been asked for before (but I'm too lazy to look for it). If this feature already exists, I apologise; but if it does exist, where is it?
Please could there be a 'Next Unread ' / 'Prev Unread ' button for the various forums. I have just spent a fruitless half an hour searching Weird and Wonderful for an unread message because the forum index had an orange dot indicating that there was a new message.
Thanks

The easiest way to find the latest messages is to use the forum search box:
(The one at the top of the forum, not the one in the menu bar!)
Search for * , and it will return all messages in descending date order.
Eg: Search[^]

The issue with this is defining "read". We can do it two ways: either anything posted since your last visit (inaccurate but do-able), or we track every time you click to open a message and store that as "read". So thousands of records for 10s of millions of members. Again, do-able but it's a lot of storage and processing (though Redis can probably do this quickly).
We did have a filter (which is still in the code) which would restrict the message list to a date subset. That could be used to filter messages to those posted since your last visit. Unfortunately the implementation is database heavy (the reason it was removed).

I know IPv6 has been around for a long time now (by Internet standards), but I know of no ISP that supports the standard. I'd be curious to find out how many members have the option for IPv6 addressing from their local provider, and where they're located. On a similar note, no ISP here offers IMAP4 for email, despite significant advantages. Where is it offered, and by what providers?
