In this response[^], on the C# forum, I selected the paragraphs that appear preceded by numbers (one at a time), and chose "indent."
No error thrown, but no indenting in final result.
I wonder if auto-line-wrap somehow comes into play here ?
thanks, Bill
"Humans are amphibians ... half spirit and half animal ... as spirits they belong to the eternal world, but as animals they inhabit time. This means that while their spirit can be directed to an eternal object, their bodies, passions, and imaginations are in continual change, for to be in time, means to change. Their nearest approach to constancy, therefore, is undulation: the repeated return to a level from which they repeatedly fall back, a series of troughs and peaks.” C.S. Lewis

HTML ignores whitespace unless you're inside a PRE block.
I should probably add code to disable the in/outdent buttons if the cursor isn't inside a PRE block.

This one: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/ArticleVersion.aspx?aid=385312&av=560714&msg=4251790#xx4251790xx[^]
There were two options: Specific version, and Published version. Since the comment was about formatting and image location and thus irrelevant once corrected for publication, I chose the specific version comment.
But when I posted it, it appeared in both lists? I don't remember it doing that before, and it looks very odd.

Hello,
I posted a new article on 05.13.2012 and my score was about 19500. Yesterday my score was about 20300. When I deleted the article my score becomes about 16500. So I don't know where these thousands of points are gone.
Is this a bug?
Also, I am facing an issue with some tips I've never posted. When I delete them, they appear as deleted but when I refresh the page they still be there. I can't delete them from my tips tab.
Is this a bug?
Kind regards,

Hi Akram,
Thanks for letting us know about this. We'll dig into your reputation to take a closer look.
As for the tips, it could be you are attempting to delete tips that are in composing status, which I don't believe you can do. Would you like me to delete them for you? Are you looking to delete these?

What you're seeing is an issue with caching of old data. We've had a long, long project of updating the rep points to reflect changes in rep policies (modified limits, new ways to score points etc) and as a bonus this recalc will fix an issue whereby removal of some points was not being reflected in overall scores.
As part of a quick fix we made it that certain events will trigger a resync of points, and so that's what would have happened with you. The underlying points were correct, but your published total was more than it should have been.

In your ample spare time...
For most fora, which get a lot of traffic (C#, Lounge, etc.), I like the Show setting of "Last Week"; for others, which get less traffic (Algorithms, Hall of Shame, etc.), I'd prefer a longer time span (Last Month), but it seems that we have one setting for all fora, see if you can do something about that.
(Or don't; I'll survive.)

This Q&A post brought the issue to my attention: Trying to create an Article Book mark[^].
I checked it and every article I looked at no longer had the option to add a bookmark to it.
Is there something I've overlooked?

Manfred

Above the license area in the upper right hand of the article do you no longer see the star icon with the green addition sign on it?

Thanks for your quick reply!
And yes,
the link is there where you said it was, though I'd swear that it had been somewhere else before.
OK, thanks again! You can mark this as fixed then.
Cheers!

Me too; wasn't it down near the stars and the other little icons?

AFAIR, this goes 2 years back. Here: Cannot Bookmark Article...[^]
As I mentioned to Manfred, this was a change when the UI was revamped. (almost 2 years back... woooo!)

Shite! If that ain't a sign that I'm growing old. Remembering a trivial detail like that and not noticing that it changed two years ago already.
